The play is original and refreshing in comparison to other generic sports titles, the controls are well designed and easy to use. The play style works in this RTS format: however, timed moves are provided for those more frantic times of play.

Many games in the past captured the essence of brutal fantasy gridiron nicely, but none could have dreamed up this much depth and detail.

Presentation aside, the only real gripe I have is the lack of any transfer options in the Championship mode, which makes a losing streak almost impossible to break.

One of the best features of this game has to be the audio. During early training missions you're introduced to the game's two commentators who come out with some cracking one-liners which really helps the game feel fun and rather tongue in cheek.
