Oct 29, 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is an exceptional game and a worthy successor. The game exhibits extraordinary graphics and realism that many fans seek. It is more of the same seen in the franchise over the years but with refined features. All the added game modes and the content that is to come promises to give us long but entertaining hours immersed in the game.

Nov 16, 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II offers excellent, perfectly toned-down multiplayer that – unlike the previous games in the series – requires good but not superhuman reflexes. Guns feel better than ever and the extremely dynamic, huge Ground War is a great mode for a Battlefield fan. Modern Warfare II is simply the best online shooter available. What’s more, the single player campaign is outstanding too. Missions in its second half might disappoint those who expect to have their finger on the trigger all the time, but amazing graphics and some really cool assignments make bearing with those gameplay experiments worth it.

Nov 2, 2022I liked how the single-player campaign drew me into the characters like Vargas, Price, Soap and Laswell. The story had something to say and it delivered some incredible action scenes like firefights on both the inside and the outside of a glass skyscraper. It makes us stop and think about modern warfare. But the game doesn’t forget that the reason we’re all here and reporting for duty again is the fun.

Nov 1, 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the great efforts from the 2019 installment by improving every aspect without taking too many risks.
-
Oct 31, 2022There’s room for improvement, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’s move into a new generation of warfare is a reminder of why Modern Warfare is the best timeline. The campaign hits hard, with some of the best performances in a Call of Duty story, the multiplayer beckons with new complexities, and a refreshed Spec Ops opens the mode up to new possibilities. A couple of misses in the UI and basic features cause some frustration, but Infinity Ward has made THEIR game, and it’s an important step into the future of Call of Duty.
-
Nov 6, 2022Some early technical and content shortcomings aside, the nostalgic single-player campaign and typically exciting Call of Duty multiplayer make sure that Modern Warfare II conveys the same and more intense emotions as its "Not Balanced for Lean" progenitor back in 2009.
-
Nov 7, 2022Even without surprising like MW did in 2019, beyond the technical problems of day one and a revisable UI, MWII knows how to entertain and chain to the another-game-and-I-stop loop as only the great CoDs can do.

Nov 3, 2022Modern Warfare 2 sets a new bar for Call of Duty all over again.
-
Oct 31, 2022Modern Warfare 2 is a good entry in the series that, even if not very innovative, delivers solid and fun gameplay.
-
Nov 9, 2022Modern Warfare II will be easily enjoyed by an average player such as myself. More hardcore fans will be missing exclusions like the titular playlist, but I'm resting assured these will be on the way soon. It's a shame that not even the biggest franchise in the genre can seem to offer up a complete package at launch, but the core is solid and as fun as ever.
-
Nov 2, 2022Overall, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is a decent follow-up to the first game and especially a comeback after the weaker Black Ops and Vanguard games. Especially in the multiplayer, which has good and now even improved gameplay, even smaller maps for intense battles, but also large maps for massive Ground War battles, all with new elements to the characters' abilities.
-
Nov 2, 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a top-notch shooter with a fun campaign and solid multiplayer offering. The shootouts are sublime and it feels great to play. If you’re going to pick up one multiplayer game this year, there’s a good argument that it should be this one. The reworked perks system and changes to the gunsmith mode show that Infinity Ward and the other developers working on Modern Warfare 2 still understand what makes Call of Duty tick, and it’s a pleasure to watch them work.

Oct 31, 2022https://www.gamersky.com/review/202210/1531711.shtml During two days of fierce battles, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with its excellent audio-visual effects and intense fighting rhythm brought me an exciting and refreshing game experience. If the IW team can solve the vicious problems that greatly affect the game experience, and continue to introduce interesting new content in the after seasons, I'll be willing to spend hundreds of hours on it.
-
Nov 29, 2022Brilliant modern military shooter with a strong campaign and excellent gunplay, but in many respects a foundation for subsequent updates.
-
Nov 1, 2022Is it because of the pressure of showing a better story than the previous work? They ended up with the story line that doesn't even add up and destroyed the plausibility between the characters, rather became a poor story compared to last one. However, high-quality shooting action and photo-realistic graphics that you expect from the series is still there, giving a genuine joy of FPS itself.
-
Nov 8, 2022It's not unplayable, but there are so many flaws that consistently and almost constantly crop up. The lack of post-launch support makes it feel as though Call of Duty is a victim of its own success, and it really doesn't matter what state it's in or how quickly it gets fixed because millions of people have already purchased it, and it'll all be forgotten before the launch of the next one. My hope is that the players won't be simply taken for granted going forward, but in the meantime, Modern Warfare II certainly subscribes to the mentality of, "Screw it. People are going to buy it anyway."
-
Nov 7, 2022Although Modern Warfare 2 is short in terms of story, it offers an enjoyable 5-6 hours. Multiplayer modes have similar flavors but managed to maintain the fun.

Oct 26, 2022No matter the task at hand, outside of aiming down sights to take out enemies, the campaign switches gears and tone and perspective and objective so often that you’d be hard-pressed to become bored with what will happen next on account of the where and how. [Campaign Review = 78]

Oct 25, 2022If like me, you're a Call of Duty fan, this is very much more of the same — but that also means you can't really go wrong. Some new features feel unnecessary, whilst others feel like a tutorial for Warzone 2.0. Modern Warfare 2 is certainly let down by repetitive gameplay and missions that overstay their welcome. But, that said, Infinity Ward has given fans what amounts to a gripping story and stunning cinematic experience that's peppered with a few flawed concepts and disappointing elements. [Campaign Review Score = 70]

Oct 28, 2022Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 offers a very nice campaign that will reconcile players who were unfortunately disappointed by Call of Duty: Vanguard. On the program, a lot of action, endearing characters, and of course a bit of betrayal in all this. If some may find that its lifespan is not long enough, it must be admitted that in this case, it is nevertheless sufficient. And as we have said, the end of the campaign announces something crazy for those who would not have enough yet! Besides, there is something for everyone: from hardcore missions to those that require more discretion, you will be served no matter what your taste is. This opus marks more than ever the return of Call of Duty. [Campaign Score = 85]

Oct 26, 2022The shooting is sharp and impactful, and the slow and snipey set pieces feel as slick as they did all the way back in All Ghillied Up, but it feels like the ratio behind this tried-and-true formula is a little off this time. It’s more stop-start than any COD in recent memory, and the highlights are diluted by a few too many drab stealth missions. It’s not one of the best Call of Duty campaigns, but it’s far from a bad one. [Campaign review]

Oct 26, 2022It might sound like I'm pretty down on MW2's multiplayer after all that, but trust me, I think it's a strong time! Aside from a couple of overcomplications, the game still excels at delivering an arcadey shootybang that's paced well, with a wealth of modes and weapons to satisfy all types of player.
