No matter the task at hand, outside of aiming down sights to take out enemies, the campaign switches gears and tone and perspective and objective so often that you’d be hard-pressed to become bored with what will happen next on account of the where and how. [Campaign Review = 78]

If like me, you're a Call of Duty fan, this is very much more of the same — but that also means you can't really go wrong. Some new features feel unnecessary, whilst others feel like a tutorial for Warzone 2.0. Modern Warfare 2 is certainly let down by repetitive gameplay and missions that overstay their welcome. But, that said, Infinity Ward has given fans what amounts to a gripping story and stunning cinematic experience that's peppered with a few flawed concepts and disappointing elements. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 offers a very nice campaign that will reconcile players who were unfortunately disappointed by Call of Duty: Vanguard. On the program, a lot of action, endearing characters, and of course a bit of betrayal in all this. If some may find that its lifespan is not long enough, it must be admitted that in this case, it is nevertheless sufficient. And as we have said, the end of the campaign announces something crazy for those who would not have enough yet! Besides, there is something for everyone: from hardcore missions to those that require more discretion, you will be served no matter what your taste is. This opus marks more than ever the return of Call of Duty. [Campaign Score = 85]

The shooting is sharp and impactful, and the slow and snipey set pieces feel as slick as they did all the way back in All Ghillied Up, but it feels like the ratio behind this tried-and-true formula is a little off this time. It’s more stop-start than any COD in recent memory, and the highlights are diluted by a few too many drab stealth missions. It’s not one of the best Call of Duty campaigns, but it’s far from a bad one. [Campaign review]
  5. It might sound like I'm pretty down on MW2's multiplayer after all that, but trust me, I think it's a strong time! Aside from a couple of overcomplications, the game still excels at delivering an arcadey shootybang that's paced well, with a wealth of modes and weapons to satisfy all types of player. This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Well at first i like the game and the mechanics. The single player campaign is pretty good but 2 missions ruined the whole experience (this tank runaway crap and the runaway crap at the end - TOTAL GARBAGE)

The multiplayer is quite fun if you like being camped 24/7. If you want to do gold camos you have to do idiotic achievements which are not fun at all. A grind would be better. So overall 1/10 playing experience.

Crashes to desktop every match. Rolled back nvidia driver played for a few hours last night than crash to desktop over and over. For a $70Crashes to desktop every match. Rolled back nvidia driver played for a few hours last night than crash to desktop over and over. For a $70 game it plays worse than any 30$ early access game I have ever played or in this case not played because it crashes too much to do anything. I am sure the console version works fine but I need a keyboard and mouse for cod games. It should be illegal to release a game this broken...... Full Review »
