May 25, 2018Bullet Witch hasn’t aged particularly well in an era of excellent, smooth, quick third person shooters and brawlers, but I still found myself having fun buying all-in with the simple pleasures that the game does succeed with. Don’t buy this game if you’re looking for a tight, polished, nuanced experience, but consider giving it some of your time for a nostalgic trip through some light-hearted fun.

Apr 25, 2018Bullet Witch is a like B-grade movie; it's far from perfect due to its modest production values but that's why you love it anyway. Who can I recommend the game as out of place and time than this to? At least not to tech-heads who find even 4K resolution insufficient. But anyone like me who enjoys curious games of the past, appreciates the Japanese penchant for drama, just loves pretty and moody female protagonists and is fed up with most of modern gaming fads can find plenty to like about Bullet Witch.

May 15, 2018Bullet Witch is a strange, quirky game that feels profoundly unfinished even as it’s charming players with its madness. It’s a complete mess, but with all the DLC included, it’s absolutely worth fifteen dollars.

Apr 30, 2018Even though it's been over a decade, Bullet Witch hasn't aged as badly as might be expected. There is some creativity in Alicia's skill-set. Summoning ravens and rose spikes lends a pleasing dynamic to combat. Also, reducing an entire city block to rubble just to kill a few demons never gets old. A typical play-through will only take about two-and-a-half hours, but the extra missions and harder difficulties are sufficient reasons to keep playing.

Apr 25, 2018Bullet Witch on PC is little more than it was all those years ago on Xbox 360; an adequate third person shooter with some good ideas but flawed execution. Here, it's bundled with all the additional missions and content that arrived post-launch and has better performance, but it's undoubtedly dated.
-
Apr 26, 2018Bullet Witch has some promise and some really great ideas behind it, however, the execution itself is incredibly sub par.
-
May 3, 2018It’s not trashy enough to add that comical factor. Beneath the mediocrity, some heart and soul went into the creation. Still, there is not a single reason that justifies bringing this game to the PC 11 years after the original release. Its sheer existence is the most fascinating aspect of this port.
-
Apr 26, 2018Bullet Witch on PC doesn't differ much from the original version. It's the same boring game, with many technical flaws and no reason to appear once again.
-
Oct 31, 2018The unpolished gameplay and bare-bones presentation do the game no favors in this day and age, and the general failure to launch issues cast Bullet Witch in a more negative light. Unless you have a strong sense of nostalgia, there's not much of a reason to pick up Bullet Witch.
-
Apr 25, 2018Why release a game that was mediocre at best already eleven years ago? Add to that careless port and you get a game that you neither need nor want.
-
May 3, 2018Bullet Witch was a bad game back in 2006, and in 2018 it didn't become any better.
-
Jul 17, 2018Despite a few neat gameplay touches Bullet Witch ultimately fails to impress and this remaster only goes to show that this game should have stayed in the past. What could have been an interesting third-person shooter is let down at almost every point by frustrating game design and bland level design.
-
Apr 25, 2018The years have passed, accentuating the defects that Bullet Witch had in 2006. Did anyone want the resurrection of this game?
