    Yeah not to bad I guess. Its just a video game that's just trying to be just that ,and not as much of a accurate representation of WW2. It looks good and runs ok if you keep DRX off.

    Normal game - 6|10, BUT after 2 mounth of playing (after firestorm update) got banned FOR nothing!!!
    Support do nothing about this problem. I play BF since BF3, have on account BF1942, BF BC2, BF3 Premium, BF 4 Premium, BF1 Premium, BF5. Never used hack/cheat programs.
    Nice work Dice/EA. Will never bougth your games again!

    This review will focus entirely on the multiplayer, as besides the forced opening in singleplayer, i have had no experience in the campaign.

    The shooting is, in a word. mediocre. It is far from the worst in a FPS, but it does nothing interesting, nor is it particularly "fun".     Performance wise i have not struggled when i am in game, though i know others who have. the key point there is "when i am in game", as the game has crashed both on startup and mid game several times per playing session.

    The one positive i can muster is that the game itself quite pretty, if only they had spent as much time to polish the gameplay as they did the swaying grass and lens flares.

    In conclusion even getting this game half price ( £27 ) i feel a bit ripped off, and have the distinct feeling that i would've got a fair bit more for my money elsewhere.    … Expand

    И как же я ненавижу эту игру. Карты уёбищные по сравнению с БФ 3 и БФ 4,(Да даже по моему и в БФ 1 карты лучше).

Техника сука не умираемая. 5 урона наносит выстрел из арбалет гранатомета,20 урона из панцерфауста. Тобишь танк у которого 100 хп хуй ты убьешь соло. Тут минимум нужно 3-5 челиков (А в БФ 4 можно было соло либо с РПГ 7 убить с 3 выстрелов либо с С4 взорвать если по тихому подойти)Самолеты вообще бессмертны,ибо зениток почти нет на карте,а если ты в неё сядешь то любой вафел может тебя легко в неё шотнуть.
    Мой любимый класс медика вообще засрали в говно,дали ему самые хуевые пушки без прицела(а карты то большие и как играть сука без прицела ааа сука).
    Рес за медика слишком долгий,пока ты ресаешь союзника тебя уже убьют(по сравнению с прошлыми частями рес просто конченый).
    Про ебаный хардкор я уже и говорить не хочу. Вот нахуя это нужно было делать? Это Арма или Батла? Патроны кончаются быстро,самолечения как в предыдущих частях нету,если тебя ранили то нужно искать либо медика либо медпункты,а это пздц как бесит. Вот поэтому все и тупо кемперят.
    Хваленная постройка тупо ограничена и строится можно только в определенных местах.

    Постоянные баги: привет неработающие мины,провалы под текстуры или же НЕВИДИМЫЕ СОЛДАТЫ(а я вначале думал что это такой чит). Постоянные издевательства над игроками: то ТТК постоянно меняют,то пинг скачет и падает,то на сервера не заходит из за блокировки РКН,то ФПС после обновы падает,то каждый раз новые баги после нового патча и даже старые баги из прошлых частей БФ типа плохой реги. Это просто самая худшая часть Батлы,вообще не понимаю почему у неё онлайн приемлемый,толи людям играть уже не во что. Как у фаната данной серии у меня просто бомбит от этой игры,уже некого желания нету играть в это. Еще эти гниды не хотят добавлять СССР.
    Удаляю данную игру так как больше нет желания в ней страдать,в ней плохо абсолютно все.
    Особенно ужасная оптимизация которая дает 30-60 кадров на не слабом ПК( Intel Core i7 3770,16 гигов ОЗУ,1060 на 6 гигов). В том же Батлфронте 2 у меня на средних 100-150 фпс,хотя движок у игры тот же самый.

    псс. После БФ 4 остальные Баталфилды выходили крайне посредственные и плохие и началась тотальная деградация серии. Лично мое мнение ИМХО.    … Expand

    It was poor at launch and the support was dropped too quickly, but after a few years this is probably the best Battlefield so far (way better than 2042, more comfortable than BF1). Amazing controls, well-balanced classes and gameplay, all weapons have their pros and cons, but mostly it just works.

    Big maps, small ones, vehicles, stationary guns – it just works.     Cons:
    - Terrible visibility in every aspect of a game: you don't see enemy in front of a wall, you can't pick enemy in tons of garbage, it's hard to read deploy map to see what's going on, kill feed is disabled by default taking away crucial information
    - UX is something DICE never heard of. Menus are not intuitive and take long to navigate. Configuring every class for both sides is a choir - battlelog was a lot better than this.
    - Bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs - I've had one team on server suddenly not be able to revive, flying tanks, objects hovering in the air, unkillable enemies, flickering textures
    - Maps are bad. And I mean really bad - they are beautiful but hardly playable - a lot of clutter with a lot of open spaces. Again: VISIBILITY is sacrificed for a fancy visuals. It's bad for multiplayer game. Look at: CS GO, Overwatch, Fortnite - those games have extremely good visibility and that makes them so good. In BF: V for most of the time you are wondering if it's some fancy map decoration or proned camper from other team.
    - "How did I die this time?" - Is a question you will be asking yourself a lot. Game gives no information what is going on, who made damage to you, where was he when it happened. Compared to COD killcam it's a joke (because it's nonexistent) and done probably to hide bad netcode (later on that) and growing problems with hackers (whoever plays bf1 knows what i'm talking about). You will die many times mostly not knowing how - just get used to it.
    - Informational chaos - game hides important information from you (hidden kill-feed, no info on how you got killed) but feeds a lot of totally not necessary information (something about your squad leader being changed, something about progression in achievement, something about community event will find its way to your display)
    - Lack of content - Maps that are here are not only bad but also scarce. I guess EA clearly goes for a long term Origin Premium model and wants to spoon-feed content so people stay interested and pay for subscription for as long as possible. There are not that many guns in game and there is no deep customization for them anymore.
    - Inconsistent netcode - Again you die in a milisecond. Again you can try to hit enemy that is further than high refresh bubble and nothing will happen. Guess that just comes with inventory.    … Expand

The gameplay is just so much fun, very immersive environment. I love the sounds, the graphics, the gun mechanics, the Grand operation.     They improved so much vs. the beta. I actually did not like the beta but now this game is just excellent. I am also quite pleased by the map design. I can tell they made a big improvement vs BF1.
    Regarding the female character controversy, you now have the option to choose whether you want a man or a woman, black or white etc... So it is totally up to the player to decide what he wants to do. Nothing is imposed on you by the devs.

    They promised this was going to be a king of Battlefield 1942 remake and the ultimate WWII experience. Guess what? They left us with half the game and moved on to make the next BF. No Normandy, no nothing, just half the **** with constant **** of the gameplay in horrid updates. They abandoned and robbed us. I'll never buy anything from DICE again.

    So after what I started this review with and the base of my score you would probably be like what the hell is this guy smoking? Well yeah, I do find the stories a bit short for their price, but after playing them I feel like I was there when it happened. And not many games have given me THAT feeling. And personally I REALLY like story modes with a solid story and have that ability to make a man really feel what the character feels, And so far BFV have hit me right in my hearth.

    The stories are uniqe and really satisfied with a good war time soldier humor to a more serious arguing and the crying from fear of the death itself. It brings all this feeling into perspective that made this like a Christopher Nolan's movie Dunkirk to a cinematic experiance you can interact with yourself. And I have never had this much emotion going through a videogame single player mode before. So from people blaming to DICE about a short story, I love that they perfected them instead of beeing a long one without the same quality.

    Even if I spent 59£ on this, after all theese emotions and dedication, I feel it is well worth this. And even better if they come with more war stories throughout the game.

    Coming back to Battlefield since long. I'm one of those Battlefield 2 players who loved that game back then. Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 was some of my favorites. This game has the spirit of these old games. No new overly bombastic features like Battlefield 4. Not bloated with unlocks like Hardline and BF4. Just pure joy. With full time ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD feelings.

    -> Lack of progresssion from BF1 was fixed. Now, you have several ranks and progressions to go thru (weapon, class, soldier, Tides of War) etc...

    I can wait to receive maps featuring new factions such as Russians, Americans and Japaneses...

    rating the game on the game itself and not all about this SJW, feminist and historical accuracy bull****. it's a solid game, runs very well on my pc with good graphics and fluid gameplay. played all the other battlefields and this one isnt bad at all. some aspects look similar to bf1 but its much better than the previous title.

    The battlefield franchise lost itself. The game play is to fast to promote good squad play which is what makes this series good. Instead of nice coordinate squad gunfights what you wind up with is a bunch of people running around like headless chickens.
    20/10 graphics dice will never fail you in this category

Political corretness is not so bad, there are no black soldiers in german army for exemple. For now in game there may be not as muchVery good game.     I've been playing Battlefield games for around 10 years now and I was incredibly skeptical of this entry in the franchise, however with my low expectations I was rather pleasantly surprised. As a kid I loved playing World War Two games and with Call of Duty: World at War I have been permanently spoiled when it comes to the historical authenticity of a game. Battlefield V does not quiteI've been playing Battlefield games for around 10 years now and I was incredibly skeptical of this entry in the franchise, however with my low expectations I was rather pleasantly surprised. As a kid I loved playing World War Two games and with Call of Duty: World at War I have been permanently spoiled when it comes to the historical authenticity of a game. Battlefield V does not quite deliver on the gritty apocalyptic World War Two feel, however there are times where I find myself immersed in the game and the environment of it. The atmosphere of this game is definitely lacking but it is not completely lost as Tides of War could (and should) bring more iconic weapons and content.

    Aesthetics and historical accuracy aside the gameplay of this title at its core is absolutely stellar, the gunplay feels fantastic and grand operations is a fantastic gamemode and I quite enjoy playing it and find myself getting lost in it.

    The sound and graphics of this game are stunning causing moments of dread when the Jericho Trumpet of a Stuka starts screaming when it begins to dive bomb you, there are many bugs with sound but I'll get to that in a moment. The graphic quality of this game is also quite a step up from Battlefield 1 despite what many may say, for example scratches and scuffs on boots, Stahlhelms, guns, leaves blowing in the wind, and numerous other examples.

    Now for the negatives, this game is absolutely riddled with bugs. I wouldn't say the bugs are as bad as Battlefield 4, however there are quite a few gamebreaking bugs. The sound bugs are absolutely atrocious, I hear a distant firefight and turn around to find that gunfight was my squad getting slaughtered right behind me by an enemy. There have also been several times where I get stuck on nothing, can't spawn at all, squad mates not able to spawn in bombers, crashes, random disconnects, and so on and so forth.

    Oh I forgot about the war stories, that should give you an idea of how they are. Battlefield 1's war stories were quite enjoyable and mostly memorable while these war stories at launch are quite bad.

    The distinct lack of content in the game is another reason this game is just eh, there are a lot of weapons from Battlefield 1 that don't operate the same but I expected more guns, maps, and customization options.

    This game at its core is actually very good, it has potential for greatness and can possibly be the best Battlefield game to date given another year or so, but in saying that it should not be that way. I have been enjoying the gameplay but this game could be so much more.
    EDIT/UPDATE: This game has had very minimal content be added to it and I would not recommend it unless heavily discounted. The game is just not fun and is severely lacking in content compared to what Battlefield 1 had at this point. Unless you like ripoffs stay away from this game.

    In my entire career of playing video games, I’ve never written a review. This game though, has had me frustrated since the moment I’ve tried it. I tried playing the campaign and multiplayer, and both have left me so pissed off, I had to write this rant. Aside from graphics and all that good stuff that comes with Battlefield games, these are just a few of my early observations and complaints. I can’t see enemies for **** They are so dark and hidden in every circumstance that I have encountered so far. I’m getting killed every two seconds when I spawn. I usually do fairly well in Battlefield games, but my first hour of playing, I was getting destroyed by players half way across the map and then when I attempt to aim, I see a shadowy figure amongst blackness and my gun fires all over like I’m holding a piece of spaghetti. Sure, people will love the challenge of aiming and moving like a sloth through the battle, but I like the idea that this is also a source of action/entertainment, and I’m not enjoying it so far, as much as I really want to. Perhaps I’m just too old now, and need to hang up the towel with these hopes that Battlefield will provide more memorable moments of action and fun. I find this game just overly frustrating so far, both visually and in controls. The ammo and health thing is really annoying, as the second I spawn, I’m instantly dead....ready to wait another 15 seconds, spawn, and run for five minutes, and then be instantly killed my the shadow of an enemy...is it a friendly? Or and enemy? I can’t tell, guess I’ll shoot my spaghetti gun and hope I don’t run out of ammo after one use. I’m sure this game will improve as time goes on, but honestly, this game put me over the edge like no other has before. Something about it, just sucks! And I hate saying that because I really appreciate the other Battlefield games. If you enjoy this game, that’s awesome. Myself on the other hand, it’s not working out. Doesn’t feel right and just pisses me off left and right. I uninstalled it and went for writing a review to help relieve myself of the rage. Maybe others will get a kick out of it and laugh it off like we all should. It’s just a game anyhow, but still something that could be much better and not so riddled with customization confusion and “realism” that doesn’t seem real at all. If you want a refreshing experience of a video game, play Red Dead 2....it’s slow paced and everything, but it’s been a joy to play in my experience. I went from that to this turd burger battlefield V. I’ll keep playing, because I’m a sucker for these games...but I’ll likely dislike it for a long while.     This review come from a player that actually played the full release of Battlefield V and played about 8-10 hours of Multiplayer so this review will at least have some stance compare to all the crap that everyone putting on here hating on women in the game and SJW stuff that seem to be mostly happening in America and is pointless for the game. ( typical as some American like to cause problems that are not even there) however i can understand gamer stand on EA and the crap they've pulled in the pass and i won't defend them in anyway for there dodgy practice.
    Review
    So when you play the game shockingly to some here who most likely haven't touch the game, BF5 compare it to BF1 and BF4 has great improvement and positive about the game but also setback to the newest installment of Battlefield but one that can only get better.
    Firstly, the graphic are on point as normal. Dice knows how to made a world feel alive and even on the PS4 pro, it just stunning so no problems there .

    Next the gameplay which has been change from BF1 and is so much better. guns feel different from each other and getting kills feel a lot more awarding since the challenge of shooting is back. There is a quicker TTK which has its up and down moments but its forces player to think more and plan there attack with your squad which is more vital for doing well in this game. You can solo with some on the new gameplay applied but it now much harder to Rambo unlike BF1 and you end up dead if your not prepare. However i feel the balance at the moment between vehicle , planes and soldiers is better then BF1 (where planes always bombed you and never go down) and BF4 which (Jesus Christ!!!!! , the bloody helicopter are just BROKEN and nobody mention this anywhere in recent time and its seem like BF4 is the god of all Battlefield when there some glaring problems) (small rant).

    The weapon choices at first seem meh and underwhelming which i can understand when there a good number of iconic WW2 weapon missing and Faction ( pph, type 100, m1 Grand ) but i bet you will see them later with the tide of war going though the years of WW2. However what weapon we go a first seem like Dice haven't try since there a good handful of WW1 weapon transfers to BF5 (which might make this look lazy but they did have a role in WW2 so that why there here) but they have improve the performance of the weapon so they don't feel copy and paste from BF1 gameplay and they handle different enough to take more skill to master the weapons so the list is a lot better then BF1 even though the list is small but it will grow with FREE content which is a nice bonus in AAA gaming which mean you don't have to pay more money for MAP, GUN, NEW MODE etc. although there more or less will be micro transaction for cosmetic which is a pain to have but i prefer that over loot boxes and season Passes although this is EA so i'm waiting for the catch. never trust E.

    Music and sound effect are also on point but i feel the sound of footstep is a bit muted which can make it really hard to hear enemies nearby. that hopefully will be fix in future updates . It also use some of the music from previous Battlefield which is awesome. :D

    The few negative i have with this game is the content is bare bone at this time. you get a small single campaign of three stories and a interesting fourth coming soon and 8 launch maps at the beginning with a handful of modes to start with. It all good with what there, i enjoy it but the lack of content there is so easy to see and at the moment I can see why paying £50 is not worth it for some player however with what coming in top for FREE in the next 3 months, that will help this game grow and can becoming something amazing so if you want to wait till then, that understandable.

    The hate this game get make no sense. I'm a fan of Battlefield and can understand the backlash it got with the trailer but not for the women in the game, Just the none sense of the video and Micheal Bay stuff. The cosmetic is there so you can customize your solider which i think is a good idea for battlefield 5 (shame it not has deep has i though ) it seem the gaming community has turn rotten just for something like this. if you don't like women being in BF5, then that your choice but it doesn't ruin the experience so calm your troll hands. However EA have done them self's for it marketing campaign that DICE had to pick and try fixed and is the sole cancer for the Battlefield name so i will join and agree with the hate on them (since they ruin so many games already) .
    Overall
    Battlefield 5 is a good game and one for the hardcore fans at least even with the faults but I can't give it anymore then 7 for the sheer lack of content at this moment. I think the rating will improve as time goes on with free updates and more content and will be a 8 or a 9 if they fixed some problems, i hope this review will help understand where this game stand at this time    … Expand

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
