    Very good game, however it's currently riddled with bugs, and the initial activation on launch day was a nightmare. Hopefully the bugs are sorted in a patch soon, but other than that the game is very good.

    It has its flaws. I don't like EAs ethics, DLCs, and the single player is pretty bad, but ultimately I have over 200 hours of playtime and I keep going back to the game. It's fun to play, fairly well balanced, and it is updated far more than any other battlefield was. You're missing out if you're not giving it a try, especially when you can get it now for a fairly cheap price.

    The game promotes team play, something a similar game seems to stear away from. The single player is really with I'm only giving it an 8, it's there but it short and sweet. The multiplayer is really what this game was made for, and unfortunetly it's noticeable in the single player campaign. The MP has unlocks and "kits" that help you keep playing with goals and customization

    Love it, put nearly 200 hours into this game now, its not perfect, and I really wish DICE had put commander mode in again, but its still a great fun game to play with friends.

    First off I want to state I didn't buy this game for the single player and from what I read you shouldn't. However, multiplayer is far from lackluster. Amazing graphics and sounds. A game that stresses team work and strategy rather than the same old CoD run and gunning it has turned into with MW3. This game puts you in a real battlefield and you leave wanting more.

    Awesome graphic ans sound! Beautifull landscape, large game arena, great effects shows that the developers have done a great job! But there are some bugs which I think will fix soon

    Best graphics, lot weapons and geadgets. 64 player on PC , BIG maps .....An outstanding teamwork based with tanks, jeeps, jets and helicopters. Single player campaign is great with stunning visuals and intense action in the air land and tank. A definite buy in my books.

    Insanely better than Call of Duty 3. The requirement of aim alone makes it a mile ahead of the competition. Full marks. Really excellent graphics, well optimised for PC.

    If you buying this game solely for the single player campaign - you will be disappointed, as it's only a cheap copy of the OTHER shooter aka Call of Duty. But if you experienced battlefield series before, you should know that multiplayer is where every single battlefield shines. Sure, the game is not perfect, some minor glitches still laying around waiting for next patch, but it is a greatIf you buying this game solely for the single player campaign - you will be disappointed, as it's only a cheap copy of the OTHER shooter aka Call of Duty. But if you experienced battlefield series before, you should know that multiplayer is where every single battlefield shines. Sure, the game is not perfect, some minor glitches still laying around waiting for next patch, but it is a great fun to play online with up to 31 allies standing on your side. The graphic is beautiful, weapons sound just right, not to mention those huge maps waiting for you to fight in them. No matter you love run and gun, or you like that infamous COD type of camping, the mass amount of unlockable items just suit every type of players. I've played for 40+ hours and never felt repetitive, every single game is a refreshing and joyful experience. honestly, you got to play it to believe it.
    I want to give this game a perfect 10. but single player campaign is a disappointment so I will give this one 9 out of 10.    … Expand

    WOOW! What a beautiful game. I even bought two diff copy's of it. One for PC and one for PS3. Multiplayer is absolutely fantastic. Plenty of guns to unlock and plenty of ways to play. When I don't feel like doing gun fights on my legs I can jump in tank or Heli/plane and do my thing! Single player was good, some people say it's not, but I really liked it.     Great game with some issues that hopefully will be fixed soon! Its worth the money, not like MW3 crap. Multiplayer 9/10, Singleplayer i´ll never play it! Buy it!

    I like so much this game, both Sp as Mp is fantastic. Realistic weapons and best graphics.

    The best graphics you need. Includes a good campaign and nice multiplayer experience. Needing to start this game through your internet browser is the only downside besides that there are no killstreaks which I would have loved, but since you can see a tank or plane as a killstreak it's no problem. LOVE IT

But if you like to play with your mates in a squad and complete challenges, then BF3 is going to be up your alley.     Although I've selected 10, I really wanted to give it 9,5. I'm not a fanboy of Battlefield, played it for the first time... and totally fell in love. Singleplayer is like 5 out of 10, and co-op is like 7 out of 10. But multiplayer is like 10 out of 5! Such a big maps, such many players, tanks, helis, jets etc. etc. It all makes me believe "hey, I'm really on the battlefield!". It's fun.Although I've selected 10, I really wanted to give it 9,5.     Intense Multiplayer gameplay accompanied by dazzling graphics that are guaranteed to make you drool all over your controller or keyboard. Finally a game that surpasses every single expectation. the gaming monopoly of Call Of Duty had been knocked completely out of the competition.

    Single-player was bad but who buys BF3 for the single-player? Excellent online play and stat tracking, few bugs here and there but patching is keeping up with what we are finding. MW3 doesn't even compare to the feel of BF3 when your running past a tank as a A-10 flys down onto you strafing it as it blows up next to you!

    Game is not perfect but it's not disappointment either unlike Modern warfare 3 this game has potential. I recommend you all to try this game even if you are new. It will take time to get a grip in Multiplayer but you won't regret it.

Unfortunately the destruction isnt all there in the single player and it plays pretty linear. However, you dont buy battlefield 3 for the story byut for the sheer awesomeness of its online. Unlike battlefield 3, you wont have to have knee surgery or be incredibly deaf.) This game rocks. It never gets old, it always adapts and changed and is brilliant.     This game is so nicely made, looks good, feels good, i don't even care about the bugs it started with, hope the patch comes really soon.
    I was COD fan for years, but this one took me by surprise and playing this alot now.

    Singleplayer: So singleplayer has never really been DICES strong point but they still manage to provide an enjoyable experience. Even though you can't topple as many buildings on your foes as you might like to driving a tank and reigning death in a fighter jet sure makes up for it. Overall singleplayer is an enjoyable that experience that for once has the Russians being on the good side!

    Multiplayer: Lets face it this is why you bought Battlefield 3 and to be perfectly honest it's worth every single cent! Whether your a grunt leading the charge to assault the enemy with your M16 or the tank providing valuable heavy weapons support and toppling those pesky buildings with the MCOM stations inside. Battlefield 3's multiplayer has something for everyone. Unlike most other multiplayer focused games *cough* MW3 *cough* Battlefield relies on teamwork, whether its reviving your teammates to keep the ticket counter high or storming capture point B in Operation Metro teamwork is essential for success, no one man armies to be found here.

    Other: Being a game as big as this means that glitches and problems are often found, you can still find the odd leg coming out of the wall, or the person half embedded in the rock, however the real downfall for this game is the crashing problems. This for me personally was only found in the multiplayer section but every 20 - 30mins the game would crash losing all my hard earned exp. however giving time and effort several fixes can be found.

    Overall: A very enjoyable experience, singleplayer could be better but lets face it multiplayer more then makes up for it. The only downside to this game are the numerous crashing problems and people unfamiliar with how battlefield 3 is to be played e.g. People flying helicopters with no gunners or passengers. Singleplayer: 6/10, Enjoyable but could have been done better.
    Multiplayer: 9/10, What makes a Battlefield game so damn good. Enjoyable through out can easily put hundreds of hours into this gane.
    Graphics: 9.5/10
    Sound: 8.5/10

    The game looks and plays great. There are some issues, but there seems to be with any of the releases these day. They'll get addressed after a patch cycle or two. The game feels like a return to the days of 1942 and BF2. I've not had any desire to play the single player so I'll not even reference. Battlefield started out as a multi-player franchise, they should just let it stand at that.

It only shows my "Origin" friends, not my BF3 friends. Why in the world would they make it 2 separate lists? The web-based friends management is beyond bad. In order to see messages I need to refresh my browser. This goes forVery happy with graphics and overall game play. Truly beautiful maps, models and sound.     As a pc gamer it simply makes more use of my pc than any other game. If you judge it by the single-player, you may as well judge a book by it's title. It's a game where if you invest time to learn the maps, it will reward. There are so many things to do in this game besides shooting. If you get bored, put C4 on a jeep and drive into a tank. Use your stealth/suppressors to sneak up and killAs a pc gamer it simply makes more use of my pc than any other game. If you judge it by the single-player, you may as well judge a book by it's title.     I have always been a fan of the battlefield series the idea of huge wars with jets flying tanks firing and overall chaos.

    Single player = 6/10 Haven't bothered to finish it yet, not bad just nothing special especially compared to Multiplayer

    Co-Op = 7/10 nice idea, mainly good teamwork just too short especially if trying to unlock everything. Multi = 9/10 Good variety of map sizes more path options for most maps (so its not just a sniper fest like BFBC2) only needs to intergrate teamwork better - not sure    Single player = 6/10 Haven't bothered to finish it yet, not bad just nothing special especially compared to Multiplayer

    Amazing game, and endless multiplayer fun. If you are buying for the single player though, definitely pass. The CoD series would be a better choice for single player options. Multiplayer though, this is where it's at.

It was very buggy when its released, DICE fixed the game with last two patches completely (minor bugs remaining). Being co-operative or not is up to the players. You can create parties and join your friend's game. There is good balance between various weapons.

What I originally saw from a Brothers in Arms demo video, the use of 1st person acting became a reality, being able to see your own character climb over obsticals gives the player a better sense of immersion and really adds to the level of detail the developers wanted to give players. This game also boasts extremely large maps, weapons and attatchments, and state of the art graphics which can be a bit of a challenge for the older systems, so be warned. The DLC content is also detailed, as for the frist time I've ever seen on a mainstream game, weapons! which really gives the game more life, and the upcoming DLC will see that for many more months to come, I think Dice realised they don't have to release a game EVERY YEAR to win over its audience, a single come back has already done that. I cannot say this enough, but teamwork is a must in this game, rambo just dont cut it and you'll be 6 feet under before you know it. Sure there's a few bugs here and there but Dice are already on top of the situation and a large patch is on its way. An amazing game, and i cant wait for the dlc. To the battlefield!… Expand

    this is a fantastic game for the pc. the graphics are awesome and the multiplayer will get you hooked for months and even years to come. blowing jeeps across caspian border will never end. singleplayer is not that good however, and i just think of it as a tutorial on multiplayer.

    Great game, beautiful, new, and one that cares about its buyers(so far). Unbelievable game...been playing it for about 5 hours now and it's wonderful. The multiplayer is bigger and better than all the previous BF games. The shooting mechanics are top notch and the map design exquisite. Pick the game up!

    The singleplayer campaign was horrifying! but at least the multiplayer shows some promise. The game is very polished but lacking developer attention after release. Battlefield 3 was laggy and sometimes unplayable due to frequent amount of crashing. But in the end, they patched most of the troubles and it's worth every penny! 9/10 -the-epikninja

    This game was a 9.5/10, but that was is 2013. Only get this game if you want to play Conquest on the stock maps, there are hardly any servers actually running this game.

The Gameplay is similar to any other 1st person military shooter though, but only difference is that the game has some nice 'QTE' moments during gameplay action. So Im gonna give the score to the multiplayer, the graphics are great, the gameplay is balanced, I would recommend this game only on PC, since the 64 players servers, not much problems with the game itself. 10/10 no questions asked.

    But the Multiplayer is good und the Premium Maps too.
    The Graphics and Sounds are very nice.
    Buy it, if you want to play the Mutliplayer, but not for the campaign

I use to play CS 1.6 competitively and the gunplay in CS- which I considered the best, but BF3 does it better. The gun play are so addicting because the the weapon were so fun to play with combine with the graphics and animations that blew me away despite being a 2011 game, but the story is... it just so bad

    Best Battlefield after BF2, sadly they pushed out too much Battlefields and the community split up and now almost noone plays this Game anymore. It was really good. Hopefully they learn out of this Game and stop **** up like bf4 and hardline.

    The best part of this game is multiplayer, graphics and physics. This game was truly ahead of its time and still not outdated by any measures.
    Campaign is decent for Battlefield. It was good because it was grounded and realistic, it showed the life of regular marine not some special force badass dudes in steroids trying to save the world.

    Campaign is decent for Battlefield. It was good because it was grounded and realistic, it showed the life of regular marine not some special force badass dudes in steroids trying to save the world.
    This game is nostalgic memory for BF players, a reminder of simpler good old times. BF3 is truly the best battlefield game.

    I own and played this on EA Origin, and I play exclusively on the single player campaign.

    Right of the bat, it is stupid and ridiculous that you have to be online to play the single player campaign, because the launching the game requires you to sign-in to some EA Battlefield's website, and launch the game from there.     Best game ever made.Best campaign, best multiplayer, best coop ever made (not considering that we're talking about a game that came out in 2011 ). Return to the glorious old days EA please :(

    Battlefield 3 remains my most played multiplayer game. It wasn't a perfect game by means and too often DICE broke just as much as they fixed with their patches. The game introduced some new maps that went on to be classics and had great gun and vehicle play.

    What a game.... This and bad company 2 are my favorite battlefield games.
    I don't play campaign, only online and battlefield 3 have the best maps, 24 player that are enough for having fun, the weapons feel good and gameplay even more. Please give us good games..

    It's all a matter of taste, after all. They each provide a certain type of entertainment – when talking about Battlefield 3, it involves a bigger game, more open in its possibilities and more spectacular. But on a longer timeline, less frantic and with fewer Bruce Willis scenes than the mass appeal beast it set itself to dethrone.
