This game is such a mess. The writing is horrible without Paul Dini. It also has one the worst PC port seen recently. WB has outdone Ubisoft this time, amazing isn't it?

Rocksteady did a great job developing the game. I feel sorry that they have to put up with Warner Bros' BS and deal with things (like writing) that are out of their control. The Batmobile part could be done better

Arkham City is better game in all aspects. As a fan of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City I am very disappointed with Arkham Knight and wish I have not wasted my time on this "epic finale" of the trilogy. What is the point of playing the game anyway when you can't even get it running smoothly and make you get frustrated all the time?

Activision, EA, Ubisoft are no doubt the top worst game companies, but I think it is safe to say that WB has now joined the list too.

Thankfully I didn't pay for this game. It came with my graphics card. The game seems pretty cool, but the PC port blows. I guess I'm going back to the Witcher 3.
The only PC port of a game I've seen that can be considered worse than this one is the PC port for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Putting simply, the animation/effects are brilliant. The gameplay is really full, the story is completely unengaging, the characters are aweful. Add to that, I never got my copy to run steadily at even 30fps. I'll be buying another WB product the day they pay me back for selling me a broken one.

Greed and Iron Galaxy are to blame for this abortion. Iron Galaxy screwed up the port of Origins, and they screwed up this one too. As for Warner Bros. Discrimination against PC gamers has to end with terrible, rushed, buggy, broken console ports to PC. WB is now on my boycott list along with EA.

Ignoring for a moment the technical issues with the game, this is a mediocre entry in the series at best. The core story & voice acting is poor compared to previous versions, the Batmobile sequences are clunky and boring and should have been a rare inclusion / bonus feature , not a routine rinse / repeat system that the game forces on us in nearly every mission. There is a distant lack of boss fights overall, and the ones that are included are poor and don't have the same escalation of excitement as they should have. The combat is the same as before, and doesn't take on board any of the improvements to this system we saw in Monolith's Shadow Of Mordor. (Also a WB game) which felt much more satisfying. Overall, if the game had run flawlessley on PC, it would have probably gotten a 5 from me....but...

Combine this mediocre game, with terrible technical issues that not only affect frame rate and graphics but also sound problems and stabiltiy / crashing issues and this is well and truly in the flop of the year category as far as the PC version is concerned. They may well fix the major issues once the game goes back on sale, but even then I 'd suggest you simply play Arkham Asylum or City instead. I think you will be happier with your purchase.

Why... Why? Well we got a overhyped game for pc and a bad pc port... The reason i give a 3 is that its still playable but frequent crashes and poor resolution this game is only great on consoles

Same old, same old. Arkham Knight is way overrated, I seriously couldn't get past the first two hours due to pure boredom. Tank is a nice addition, but this isn't a shooter! This is not what people want. The rest, well, if it's your first Batman game in Arkham series you'll have ton of fun but otherwise it's not worth it.

What is with that user score?! PC fanboys coming over to the ps4 and xbox1 versions and lowering the scores cause the PC version just happens to not be the best port of the game? I can NEVER taker user reviews and scores on metacritic seriously anymore...

I gave this game 6 hours of my time in hopes that I could get past the issues with the lazy port and sadly I could not. The game has some great potential but with the issues such as, frame rate slowdown, bad lip syncing, wonky camera and more, I never found myself completely enjoying the game. Gave up. Refund Obtained. Hopefully it will be fixed and I can once more Be the Bat but II gave this game 6 hours of my time in hopes that I could get past the issues with the lazy port and sadly I could not. I think a lot of the existing low reviews were made after playing the original, apparently awful, release. I bought this in October '15 after a major patch, and I have been thoroughly enjoying it so far! It has all the things I liked about Rocksteady's first two Batman games plus a lot of new things. If you like the first two Batman games, definitely get this one!

Giving it a 5 for now, and there it shall stay until Rocksteady fix the game. They should have called in a delay for a month and optimised the game properly before release. Rocksteady's previous games were solid, and this is very disappointing. Through the laggy mess of blurry broken textures, some very unique and solid gameplay mechanics coupled with excellent story can be found, and had this game released in it's proper state, it would be looking at more of an 8/9 score. Will revise score when the game is playable. Rocksteady better fix this fast, as they now have a very large focus group of bug testers; the poor consumers who put faith in them and bought this game. The map was much better and didn't need the transition to 3D. The gadget panel should have stayed real time and not put into a separate menu that pauses gameplay. Last but not least the batmobile addition seems kinda forced. The critics were spot on about it. Some levels will take so much time to complete because the stupid batmobile lost steering or you didn't drive that great. The first game didn't piss you off with something like this and I have a feeling they should have just made the batmobile work in fewer sections of the game. Expand

Well, I have to say that I am somewhat confused about all the negative complaints about my PC version of this awesome Holy Bad-ass game! I play Arkham Knight until I crash on my pillow. Yeah, that's right. My PC rig runs this game smooth as silk, until I get my Bat Ass kicked to death, and the game quickly restarts the last checkpoint to wit I bitterly kick the crap out of the bad guys in heated revenge. This game is satisfying after each head kicking scrap. An I love driving my beautiful Batmobile. I don't feel forced to drive it, the balance of Flight or Drive feels very comfortable I just love my new Batmobile - I said that already, didn't I ? Now I have to be Holy Frank with those PC users that are having stability issues - maybe PC gaming is not for those who are refusing to upgrade, or they refuse to take their meds, or maybe these complaints are a Holy Red Herring thrown in by the same Holy Whiner-baby's that never stop complaining about the games they download from pirate websites. ooooh! Did I hit a nerve or two. For crying out loud! I went so far as to do the Holy Modified.ini file to "BmEngine" and "BmSystemSettings" Now my graphics are as lushes wet as cat-woman's lips, and the game still runs smooth, fast and stable until I am ready to pass-out. Well there is a matter of keyboard mapping I would like to see improved, I suppose I could grab a new keyboard with macro programing cause this button mashing is killing my fingers. What more can I say, if you have the right PC hardware configured correctly then this game will be far superior to the previous two Arkham games.
