I did not pre-order this and I am glad I didn't. I will never pre-order any game so long as this garbage is acceptable to people. This is an outrage. If they spent 30% less on advertising, and spent it on QA instead, they might have a legacy, or a name to go on. The Integrity of the market is dead. You won't see another dollar from me until this ends. Buggy, half-assed PC port? How bout I just wait for this to go on sale 6 months from now for $5.99 on steam. At the moment, you'd have to pay me to play through this game in its current sorry state.

You have the audacity to RELEASE a "final" version in this state at $59.99? Oh hell no. Pass on this if you work for your money. If you make money from dividends on stocks and have never seen the inside of a 9-5, go ahead and blow the 60 dollars on a game you cant even really play. It's your money.

This game might be a good game, im not really sure since i wasn't able to play the game at a frame rate higher than 25 fps due to the terrible PC port. It kills me that the port is this bad, Arkham Asylum and City are two of my favorite games, and i was really excited to play this game. I will revise my review if the new PC patch is able to actually make the game playable.

I don't understand how people ask for reviews to be held back for patches and then review. Since when are games judged by unannounced patches that might take 1-2 months to fix the issues they have? Games always have and always will be reviewed by their state at release.

The truth of the matter is that they screwed up BIG TIME. They outsourced the PC port to "external partners" and they didn't even bother to mention it to their customers and they also changed the system requirements previous day of release.

The game is locked at 30fps, the textures are just plain bad in a lot of areas, the gameworks settings do absolutely nothing to the graphics, lights are flickering and the fps drops to mid 20s or even worse all the time. PC running the game, i7 4790K, GTX 970, 16gigs RAM and game is on an SSD.

Truly disappointed, this could be the new worst PC port in existence.

Rocksteady have lied, deceived and delivered a shambolic excuse of a game thanks to essentially offloading the product that people have invested heavily in, to a dreadful 3rd party company; Iron Galaxy.

The game runs abysmally throughout with regular stutters in regards to framerate and audio on rigs that surpass even the recommended settings. The 30fps cap is a travesty for 2015 and even with framerate unlocked after modding the config file; the game still persistently wobbles. Visually, the game looks worse than the PS4 version which is beyond belief and the optimisation settings are virtually non-existent just to improve what is seemingly an old-gen title. The game even suggests to turn off many aspects to 'improve the performance' in the graphics menu which is ridiculous.

Rocksteady's credibility has extinguished. It feels they couldn't even be bothered to make the PC version so they passed the buck onto a small and very weak company to do their dirty work. The fact people have bought the game with the season pass at a cost of £60 should demand the utmost care and attention but the 'developers' have given PC gamers the middle finger which is disgraceful behaviour and a complete disregard for an important market. Thank god Steam have the refund facility in place and Rocksteady will get their just-deserts in the end. Another AAA atrocity that isn't even worth holding onto for the patch. Despicable.

Well, the Batman game franchise has become a bloated cash-cow, risk free game design makes for a pretty predictable experience...if you are new to the series you may garner enjoyment from it, but for me the format has become too stale even with the Batmobile shoehorned into the proceedings. Batman is in dire need of a clean slate.

This is a prime example of why you must have a QA staff ready to put your game through a battery of tests to ensure that it works properly. Warner Bros. is a multi million dollar company. There is no excuse for this. They have the money, they just chose the lazy route of not testing their software before release. I've had a decent amount of faith in Warner Bros as a game publishing company over the years but this really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me question whether or not I should invest in their products in the future. Also, the fact that they put more work into their console versions just annoys the crap out of me. I'm sorry to say, but PC gaming is rapidly becoming something people would rather invest in than console gaming because while we may have to wait a while on the PC side of things, at least, for the most part, we get the better version. This makes me kinda want to get a console just to play the less terrible version of this game, but I refuse to sell out to consoles just to play a game that should be ACTUALLY working on the system it was released on (PC in this case). Anyway, don't bother with PC if you have a console. Just get the console version and save yourself the frustration. Expand
