Sep 22, 2023Atlas Fallen is a great example of a game with an interesting premise and a weak execution. Fun sand-sliding and some plot points are probably the only things that would hold your attention up until the end credits.

Aug 31, 2023Atlas Fallen has much going for it, with satisfying combat, lovely visuals within the desolate environment, plenty of collectibles, and the fun sand-sliding mechanic to traverse between quest locales. But it also suffers from a several issues – not the least being the bland storyline and dialogue. Chatting to quest givers is somewhat tedious, but luckily once you head off into the dunes this is easily forgotten.

Aug 18, 2023Turns out, I like Atlas Fallen quite a bit. There's love and good ideas on display that deserve to be seen. Throughout long stretches, this is a wonderfully flexible hack-and-slash with neat bells and whistles. It's just that a few of the basics are somewhat lacking.
