    The game itself is based on a dodging/blowing up stuff, but that quickly falls in background picture, since you have to outmaneuver the enemy, who are constantly changing. Your job is to save planets from incoming asteroids, while taking care of your affairs with other bounty hunters.    … Expand

    Is Asteroid Bounty Hunter one of the space shooters that are worth trying or should you save your time and money for something better? Let’s start with the positives first - the solid story with the right amount of sarcasm, refreshing idea of destroying asteroids, many available upgrades for your ship, optional level of difficulty for each level, optional game modes, responsive and easy controls, beautiful graphics and effects, nice ambient music along with option to use your own music, good voice acting. Now let’s get to the things I dislike about the game - low number of enemy types, tiresome boss battles, strange system of unlocking new ships and early stereotype due to repeating the same activities again and again in each level. The game like this would deserve a local multiplayer that would definitely make it more suitable and enjoyable for family playing.

    Asteroid Bounty Hunter is not a bad game but it could be way better if there were more types of enemies, more variable gameplay than just shooting at asteroids and hostile bounty hunters and the local multiplayer that would make it more suitable for family playing. Like this I am still giving it Thumbs Up and VideoGaming Father’s Index 6+ out of 10 - recommended but only with a big discount.    … Expand
