    Эту игру можно назвать как угодно, но никак не Assasin's creed. Я конечно не ярый фанат этой серии, но мне она все таки довольно сильно понравилась, всю серию испортили, инноваторы хреновы. И механику испоганили начиная с ориджин. Не буду покупать такие игры принципиально, пройду на пиратке и удалюЭту игру можно назвать как угодно, но никак не Assasin's creed.     Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Ubisoft Quebec's first attempt at an RPG set in the Assassin's Creed Universe. Led by Ubisoft Kiev's studio, the effort of taking AC: Odyssey from the console platforms to then "tailor the experience" for PC users was a disaster.

    Ubisoft Quebec and Kiev *fail* to grasp one simple concept: Functionality. The PC version of AC: Odyssey is barely functional and    Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Ubisoft Quebec's first attempt at an RPG set in the Assassin's Creed Universe. Led by Ubisoft Kiev's studio, the effort of taking AC: Odyssey from the console platforms to then "tailor the experience" for PC users was a disaster.

    Ubisoft Quebec and Kiev *fail* to grasp one simple concept: Functionality.

    The PC version of AC: Odyssey is barely functional and the reason why, is not shocking; Ubisoft as a corporation have built a reputation for disappointing their customer base. The failure I refer to, is the blatant disregard for intel i5 and i7 CPUs. Taken from a Ubisoft product tester: "The games are tested on systems with 1050tis @30 FPS, very little testing is done at 60 FPS or higher."

    This is a massive disappointment. The content of AC:O is, fundamentally, fantastic. The RPG elements can be lazy at times, like the uninspired lack of 'smart loot' (wherein the loot pool will adjust its parameters to meet the class of the player) yet it's addictive and enjoyable. All of this is cut short when CPU usage spikes to ridiculous percentages, seen in the 50-80s, which is absolutely unacceptable, to the astounding 100% cap. This goes beyond unacceptable. This is the hallmark of an incompetent studio doing nothing to improve the performance of their game, instead focusing on adding more content and leaving PC consumers in the dark.

    This is a damn shame, as I actively enjoy playing AC:O; until my CPU starts complaining, causing stuttering as soon as it spikes to 100%. We all have begged Ubisoft Quebec and Kiev to fix this fatal error and they've done nothing to address it. Even a simple statement from them saying "Unfortunately, we're too inexperienced to optimize the PC version of AC:O." would give us a heads up, to avoid purchasing their future products. They have not done this, angering the PC customer base and disappointing long-time fans of the franchise.

    It is with a heavy heart that I must push future consumers away from such a beautiful mess. For those consumers, I would instead suggest: NioH, The Witcher 1 -3, the Mass Effect trilogy (excluding Andromeda), Dragon Age: Origins, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2, Warframe, Dragon's Dogma, The Division 1 (TD2 is just as garbage as AC:O in terms of CPU rape) and any other looter that isn't developed by Ubisoft.

    To Ubisoft Quebec and Kiev, I say this: PC enthusiasts build rigs like ours to play current generation games at 1080p and/or 1440p at 60/240fps. Forcing us to cap our frame rates to 30fps so that we halve the CPU usage is the reason why we have consoles. If you cannot build a game that runs at 60fps at a CPU Usage of 40% (50 maximum), do not sell a "Tailored Experience" to PC consumers. In fact, don't even attempt it unless you meet this basic, bare minimum, requirement.

    Tiempos de carga infinitos teniendo en cuenta que hay situaciones en que mueres muy a menudo, misiones tediosas, repetitivas y sin nada interesante que ofrecer. Diálogos muy extensos. En fin, misiones largas y aburridas, un tiempo de carga infinitamente largo, rescato el esfuerzo de los desarrolladores pero aún así es un juego bastante reciclable.

    What an absurd game! Filled with progressive garbage, and above the protagonists can not use shields being supposedly Greek warriors. So the protagonists are Greek warriors and can not use shields? Well, if so, I'm not interested in using your mediocre game

    It crashes very often and poor optimization for PC. I'll never buy another Ubisoft game again. It's a shame because i really like AC Odyssey. The Story is good and and packed with interesting side quests, so much to do but it's simply unplayable.

Из Научной Фантастике в стиле Stealth-Action они сделали просто красивую Фентези Игру. Насмотрелись на Wither 3 и Skyrim, захотели сделать аналогичную игру. Ну назвали бы ее как-то иначе да и все. With realism in General, everything is very bad. Already by the middle of the game, just tired of these continuous women in the role of men who are incredibly cool warriors and other constant demonstrations of how women can be both warriors and rulers in ancient times. In antiquity, women in 99% were not warriors and rulers! Why push this idiotic feminism to the detriment of realism in the ancient world? Absolutely linear plot, sometimes it feels like the player is just being bullied when you choose a dialogue option that the developer does not like, and then it outputs the same result. Absolutely one-sided black-and-white presentation of some worldview dilemmas.
    The only positive thing to note is the beautiful world. Everything else the team of more than 1000 people did failed. It seems that the project was headed by some stupid woman who has no idea about RPG games at all.    … Expand

    2 years ago I bought this game and so far, I haven't even passed half of this game. Yes, to such an extent the game is boring. This game, a copy of "The Witcher 3," is only much worse. I do not advise to buy this game, it is very bad.

    Discovering the environment is not very interesting since it all looks identical.

    Big step down from Origins.

    The eagle is still there, most hate it but some like it. ( the targeting seemed to be a little better but still very bad.

    GRIND GRIND GRIND that is super simple and not rewarding

    You also keep leveling up super simply for some tallent and abilities but it feels lost

    same thing for ships, it is cool like Black Flag but no fishing and much more simplistic so get Black Flag if you want naval fun.
    You also barely use the boat.

    I played 2 hours and then uninstalled the game.
    Graphics are also to be upgraded, many blurr moment.    … Expand

    I can't even imagine how someone can keep playing it, once they thought about all the issues. Especially the Quest consequences and how the "developers" ass pulled the explanations to make it canon, in a facking we look at the DNA to see what happened in the past game.    … Expand

I’m only about 12 hours in Odyssey and I think this is the game to finally make me put my controller down and walk after    I can sum up in one sentence why this doesn’t work as an Assassin’s Creed game. The AC series has aways been an interweaving connected overarching narrative. How exactly is this game supposed to fit into a franchise when there isn’t even one canon answer of who these game events even happened to? Was it the brother or the sister? The very idea the player gets to chose the actions of the character undermines and intentionally destroys not only over a decade of lore and world building. In removes all the fun mechanics of trying to relive these memories as accurately as possible to fully “sync” with DNA of the person you are observing. They turned it into a bland dime a dozen RPG. And I have no problem with RPGs or chose your own adventure game, in fact I love them. But Assassin’s creed simply can’t be one by the nature of the established in universe rules.

    I would say this would be a better stand alone RPG if it dropped the Assassin’s Creed title. But honestly even as an RPG it’s lame. Unlikable characters, horribly paced story that’s only vaguely engaging. Copy paste fight mechanics they still manage to make boring or frustrating. Bloated maps and disconnected side quests. No social stealth. Ridiculous leveling system. Nonsensical skill tree. And you have to grind on unrelated side quests before you can even continue the main story. There is no in story reason why these side quests would make you grow as an Assassin.

    You wanna assassinate your father but in order to do that you have to level up. Better help an old woman make a viagra potion! And the knowledge gained from helping that woman gains you a skill point you use gain the ability to…. Call an assassin to assist in fights? You couldn’t figure out how to do that before? There is no logic or flow in leveling. It’s just arbitrary withholding of basic actions you should already have the ability to do.

    I really can’t talk poorly enough about this game. It’s an embarrassment, and it’s sad new/casual gamers consume this garbage. Ubisoft finally realized they don’t have to try that hard cuz gamers will gobble anything up if shill critics praise it. The emperor really does have no clothes.    … Expand

    Even after taking an RPG approach in the series ,the story could have been a lot better.A lot of missions are just a true filler and the story is below average at best. Mediocrity at its finest .....kudos ubisoft

    It was "ok" at first when it came out, but over time i have really started to hate this game, especially thanks to losers who say that this is somehow better than Valhalla lmao. Valhalla is million times better game than Odyssey and actually feels like AC game. Odyssey NEVER feels like AC game, not once. Only high places you can climb are statues or hills. In Valhalla you have city walls,It was "ok" at first when it came out, but over time i have really started to hate this game, especially thanks to losers who say that this is somehow better than Valhalla lmao. Valhalla is million times better game than Odyssey and actually feels like AC game. Odyssey NEVER feels like AC game, not once. Only high places you can climb are statues or hills. In Valhalla you have city walls, huge churches and so on. Overall terrible game and story is just awful and meaningless. If you are wondering, if you should play Odyssey or Valhalla, but you want it to feel like actual AC game, go with Valhalla! Valhalla has also better story.… Expand

    if "meh" was a game, it would be this one. I liked it at first, but when time went on i started to hate it more and more. Now i'm at the point, where i can't even stand hearing about this game. I really hate it. Leveling system is an absolute joke in this game, thank god Valhalla fixed that. Oh and also, this game has NOTHING to do with Assassin's Creed. NOTHING.

    I have never played a game as boring as AC Odyssey. While the game is fun, it's just way to stretched out. 95 percent is just traveling. Finished a quest? Nice! Now go and talk to 3 more people that are far away from fast travel points. I'm 50 hours in and I just can't be bothered to finish the Atlantis DLC because it's so unbelievably boooring.

    The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise is truly a wonder and a fresh take on a stale idea. The excellent execution, gameplay and story is only overshadowed by greedy micro transactions, paid XP and awful optimization.

    An excellent and beautiful game from ancient Greece. Maybe it’s very different from the first game, however this evolution benefits the brand. [Issue#290]

    While AC: Origins was packed with interesting stories, Odyssey is a generic ’Ubisoft sandbox’ in the worst sense, with hundreds of the same-looking places, dozens of ”kill-fetch” quests and almost zero motivation to grind further.
