    This game is actually pretty good, the launch was pretty good (The only problem i've gotten was a bit of lag for 20 seconds). the finishers are cool, all characters feel fun with to play. guns feel balanced and movement feels amazing.

    Don't care who made it or what universe it's set it. Too many people complaining about silly crap. Enjoy the game, it's wicked sick.

    The game is really cool. Has a lot of new features which is always a plus. The best thing about the game is that it's free! However I have one small problem, which is why I'm giving it a 9/10 instead of a 10/10. You are being forced into a team. There is no solo, or duo. Another thing I dislike about the game is that there is a limit of 3 people per squad, which I think it should be atThe game is really cool. Has a lot of new features which is always a plus.     First of all I don't like Battle Royale games at all. I've tried PUBG, it's just not my cup of tea. With that being said - his game is the most enjoyable game in past few years for me. It's really 9 out of 10 for me in FPS category. Everything in this game is fast - loading screens, joining server, pace of the game, looting, movement. This game requires a lot of skill, and if you haveFirst of all I don't like Battle Royale games at all. I've tried PUBG, it's just not my cup of tea.     This game is amazing, with good mechanics without locks and other problems with incredible gameplay. I was a bit disappointed by the microtransactions by the EA factor but did not influence the game very negatively. Still for me one of the best games created in 2019 so far, but we have a lot to wait because we are still at the beginning of a year full of games to be released.

    After Fornite making me dislike all Battle Royal games. I decide to give this one a try because i read it was based on Titanfall and i enjoyed Titanfall 2.
    Everything i disliked about Fortnite this game basically fixed or did better. The big thing for me is the bullet-speed of the weapons and the speed of the game in general. Only 60 people instead of 100 on a smaller map means more action and more chance to win. Squads of 3 is a good choice as its no longer a disaster if one of your team goes rogue or disconnects. The simultaneous launching with the jumpmaster also helps to keep the team more together while landing. And the option to respawn your deceases squad mates also promotes team-play and can lead to some epic victories. The movement physics feels smooth and cool like in Titanfall, unlike the choppy unfinished animations of PUBG for example. The heroes all have a their abilities and are imho quite balanced so far. This is really an addictive game that i have really enjoyed playing so far.    … Expand

    So this game is amazing the ping system is super helpful and the map flows nicely and is well designed. The shooting also feels solid and fair. Even though the map is big it's still easy to move around in with zip-lines. if i had to knock the game for one thing it's that the team based part of the game doesn't feel fully fleshed out

    "Refreshingly Toxic." That's actually my full review but I'll humor the character count:

    The gunplay and movement are magnificent. It might dethrone Counter-Strike as hottest tournament for this reason alone. The potential for weird **** is pretty high being an old head. I've never blamed the game for my loss because it feels reasonable to me. I figured out how to solve my crashing    "Refreshingly Toxic."     By far my favorite shooter, I think the BR aspects are fun too. I really like how this game has characters with abilities I like that a lot more than the loadout system like Titanfall or COD. The guns all feel really good, the movement is great without being too crazy like Titanfalls. The maps are all really good as well and the game is updated pretty often.

    A very solid, well made BR game. It has good voice acting and good characters. The rounds themselves are a lot of fun due to respawns and quick gameplay and good movement. Also the teamplay is good due to the amazing ping system and automated voice lines making it easy to play with randoms. Graphics are great for a free2play game, every legend is fun to play, Respawn actually cares about this game unlike Epic Games (Dont hate on Apex just because its better then fortnight lol.)     Ok, let’s be real here. This is one proper review. Almost all those negative reviews are from salty people who have had trouble playing the game because they are crap at it. Apex legends is a wonderfully made game with fortunately not much development from EA and most of it from Respawn. The soundtrack is great and now that they have added more modes including solos and duos the game isOk, let’s be real here. This is one proper review.     apex is a great shooter when you are alone or with friends! apex has a smooth combat feel to the guns which is really satisfying. there is sadly a bit pay to win in apex with the characters' costing $. the game constantly getting updated and character's and to this day many people play this game including me. to get the most out of this game, pop a Spotify lo-fi track and fire up a match.

    Moja ulubiona gra typu battle royale. Dynamika rozgrywki, sympatyczne postacie i ciekawy wybór broni sprawiają, że będę powracał miło do tej gry. Dodatkowo jest też sporo eventów z fajnymi nieraz nagrodami i interesujące aktualizacje, które zawsze wprowadzą coś nowego do rozgrywki. Moim zdaniem jedna z lepszych propozycji do pogrania ze znajomymi.

    Great game that keeps me coming back for over 2 years. The guns are unique and fun to find what one is right for me. Winning is super satisfying and I feel I get better with every game. The legends are unique and there is one for every play style. The only con is that your placement and land spot is heavily influenced by your teammates

    Best battle royal out there the character choices are really fun and are always being balanced keeping the meta varied over the years, you can easily play for hours and not get bored. Seasons can be come stangnent about half way through due to un-interesting events every so often. Seems well optimsed since everyone I know can run the game.

    Gunplay and overall movement mechanics are best in class. Most legends are fun to play with the free-to-play-ness of it all not being too bad. There's a lot of importance on team play and playing well will never not be satisfying however sometimes you'll run into someone with triple your hours. Fair warning don't play if you have a gambling problem

    Simply the best Battle Royale game available right now. With the recent (and permanent) addition of the Mixtape gamemode, the game has something for any FPS gamer. It has some performance issues and the fact that most legends must be purchased is irritating, but the gameplay is genre-leading.

    I give this game 8 because it is a great game and has some great points for gameplay, game story and plot, and great character for a first-person shooter. The issue with this game is the developers don't put enough time into preventing cheaters into their game that is all.

The hero mechanics don't feel overwhelming or too underwhelming.... each character brings something to the table and provides scenario based advantages.
    Cons: Netcode could use a little work (though it feels alright). Some bugs    Pros: Fantastic BR title with fresh elements, great game play, and loads of replayability. Graphics are fantastic. Shooting feels just right. Pacing is on point. The hero mechanics don't feel overwhelming or too underwhelming.... each character brings something to the table and provides scenario based advantages.
    Cons: Netcode could use a little work (though it feels alright). Some bugs need to be fixed ASAP (auto windowed mode on every restart...... game crashes, and server instability (occasionally).

    Recommendations: Br games need to add some kind of currency specifically for wins.... so that winning feels even more special (gaining items with wins currency)... also the cosmetics are nice, but mostly just fluff. Hopefully they start working on a new map and FAST. because BR titles need more diversity in the map departments. Something pubg actually succeeded in (eventually).

    Conclusions: Great title, minor inconveniences, loot shop needs work. Overall balanced and great experience (especially with friends)    … Expand

After it launched, I watched gameplay and saw how much fun people were having with it, so decided to give it a shot.

    Initially, I wasn't thrilled with the relative lack of mobility as compared to Titanfall, but Respawn gave valid reasons why they didn't include it, and technically this isn't a Titanfall game, just set in the same universe. It took a bit, but I got used to the lack of wall running and double jumping and am okay with it now.

    The gameplay is relatively fast, after getting used to the interface and how the game plays (never played a BR game before) it's pretty well laid out and not overwhelming, with a lot of quality of life features that streamline the experience to allow me to concentrate on the gameplay. The Ping system is also great, even useful when you do have mics.

    This really does feel like a labor of love from Respawn, as EA was not actually involved in the development aside from funding the game. Respawn wanted to make this and the effort they put in shows, I just hope they can continue to provide updates and content enough to keep the game going strong. As I see it, this game will just help to get more people introduced into the Titanfall universe, which will help whatever future Titanfall game Respawn decides to make.    … Expand

    Shooting and movement feel a lot like CoD Black Ops 4, but people who played it would probably compare this game to Titanfall.

    Although not the first, Apex tries to introduce classes/heroes to the genre. The first attempt I remember was Realm Royale, but Apex just does it better. Heroes with personalities, easy to understand abilities, picking phase before the match, all heroes can use all weapons and having the majority of heroes unlocked for free from the start is great.

    You will have two opportunities to respawn before you get killed for good; one is getting downed, and other is, a surviving teammate can call you with a dropship if they have your banner/dog tag. Which is different and I think it adds to the genre.

    The only downside of Apex right now is that it doesn't have solo, duo or quad modes, only triples. But the game design is so focused on triples that I don't think I would want to play solo in this game.

    There is also no vehicles in this game, but also no fall damage, and you can slide downhill pretty fast, there are zip lines and elevator lines you can use to get to places.

    Overall, the comprehensive callout system, the snappy shooting, graphics, music and voice-overs are very high quality and I would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in the genre.    … Expand

    Technically speaking, Apex Legends is above average and really fun. My only complaint by now is the visual confusion that having so many objects onscreen can cause. So many times my own bullets makes barely impossible to see the enemy.

    Blackout: Paying full price for a battle arena game? LOL

    Apex Legends has great gunplay (based on Titalfall 2), a good map and diverse characters. That makes it easily the best battle arena game to date.

    December 2021 update: Numerous improvements have been made. I have not come across any players that I suspected were cheating since I've revisited the game within the past two months. Great game now, although I would like to be able to play all the maps available not just a selected 2 or 3.

    I had to give Apex Legends a try. It is, after all, free to play. I've been having a lot of fun with it. It is a challenging multiplayer game. Gun fights are exhilarating, and the mechanics and feel of the game is quite responsive. Player hit boxes are appropriately sized. I've not experienced any latency issues. The graphics look great. The game runs smoothly on my GTX 1060 at highest settings. The map (only 1 thus far), is superb, there are some very cool environments (zones) all packed into a single map.

    I only have a few criticisms.
    -A number of the characters seem like they were ripped from Borderlands (Siren, Maniac (Octane)) and Overwatch. Three of the 'legends' require a lot of time playing to unlock or can be purchased with real money. though they are not needed to enjoy the game as it is quite balanced.
    -There are a number of cheaters playing. While it took a while until I identified a cheater with aim bots, I did find 2 within only an hour of playing during one evening. One was my random team-mate and then another that i suspected and spectated to see that indeed the player was using an aim bot. Apex Legends is a successful free to play multiplayer game, and thus, cheats are to be expected. I just hope it doesn't get any worse and the developers stay on top of it.

    Edit: Updated my score to an 8 as the servers are garbage and constant 2 man squads makes solo queue unplayable.

    This is BR done right, mechanics, polish and monetisation seems on point and considering this game came straight out of nowhere as a full release product is a big plus. (Fornite is still in 'beta', lol)
    As other people said though, I would love more of Titanfall's mechanics in this, wall jumps and riding would be a big big plus.

    Com'on people! this game deserves more then 6.5! This is battle royal done right. For a free to play title this game is polished and very few bugs! its faster pace compare to PUBG, and the different character's abilities actually make a difference. if you like battle royal mode but cant stand Fortnite like me, this is the game for you!

    These are the points i really like about this game:
    - Movement smooth af, a little bit slower than titanfall but thats okay
    - the UI is well thought out and clearly arranged, I love the colorcodes for ammo
    - the ping system is so simple yet so powerful, communicating with my team was never a problem
    - the Legends abilitys are not too powerful but still can turn a fight if used in the right way
    - the map is perfect for BR, no widely open areas where you get sniped outa nowhere
    - gunplay is hard in the beginning but even more satisfying after you learn how to pre-aim

    My only bad point at this game are:
    - it takes at least 15 hours or more to get enough credits to buy a new legend, this could be a little bit less time consuming
    - finishers take waaaaay to long, you get killed most the time while doing them
    - some areas are so bright it hurts my eyes at night, I need an gamma slider ffs!
    - currently the servers are crippling under the huge load and this leads to crashes or disconnects (though this point should be temporarily)

    Most of these bad points can be easily fixed but all in all it is a well polished game. Try it out it is F2P and not P2W.    … Expand

    It has some good features and some bad features. But what really stands out is the communication. You can ping everything. When you see an enemy in PubG you can tell your allies by saying "yea over there at 345 and then they have to calculate where you are standing and in which direction you have to look at your position.     The characters are unique, and each one can be a play maker in their one way. On a side note and not really important, most of them are pretty ugly.
    The map (the only one available yet) is packed with stuff, not a single spot on it feels empty.

    Battle Royale with Titanfall shooting. Pretty good game. Brings few cool features that other BR games lack, like sharper movement, an ability to revive teammates after death, special abilities. Yes, we could've seen another TF game, but I'm sure that one would've not sold well. If this one does well, it will build a great foundation for the next TF game.

    At first, game seems fine. But... Sometimes it just crashes(when you jump/kill enemy/heal yourself)! Error is: Memory 0x00000000 cant be read(or written) This is all because game does not have high priority. Only way to fix it is to add priority in Windows Registry, and then you won't be able to launch the game! So annoying.

    As a Battle Royale game, it kind of suffers from what all battle royale games suffer from: There is nothing more frustrating than running around for 20 minutes, collecting loot while nothing really happens, just to get killed immidiately by the first squad you encounter. But that probably just is the nature of all Battle Royale games.

    What I particularly like about the game is the character design; the different abilities of the characters are not huge, powerful game-defining resources (like in Overwatch for example), but rather feel like tools to make the most out of a certain playstyle you have to work for to make it viable. Want to trap an enemy squad in a confined bulding and have a terrain advantage? Play Caustic. Want to get the most out of positioning and high ground? Play Pathfinder. Want to play more aggressively and into-the-enemie's-face, play Revenant. No matter what you play though, the most important thing still is the gunplay, not to solely rely on your abilities and ults.

    Short version: Good engine, good character design, just a good Battle Royale game overall.

    One of the best battle royales out, the proof is that it keeps a healthy player base 4 years after launch which is probably the only battle royal out there except Fortnite that managed to do this

None of the other games from the genre clicked with me quite like Apex did. It felt almost natural going into this game.     The game is still very incomplete. Season 8 has arrived. You cannot enter the game by selecting the map. Badge system is very bad, nothing is understood. The introduction to the game (character selection) animation now makes my stomach blur. (It keeps repeating the same things). I can talk about bad things more. But it's still a very good game

    One small problem, the different types of ammunition and the messy looting system can be obnoxious, but once you get used to it, it works fine.

    This is by far the best battle royale game out there.

    The game is dynamic, balanced, cool mechanics. I love Time to Kill. But there are problems. Firstly, this is a tick rate and communication with servers, it constantly does not register hits or you are killed behind a closed door. Secondly, bugs - they do not occur often, but they do exist and they are not always quickly fixed.    This is by far the best battle royale game out there.

    Is the best battle royale i tried, and if you are looking for a solid competitive shooter experiencie, this game is very good. The gun play feels great, the game have lot of characters to play, multiples maps and gamemodes. But is only a multiplayer experience, though, i would recommend anyone to at least try, since the game is free to play.

    Apex is alright, it kind of fell off recently and was super boring last time I played but I put a lot of time into it and I did used to enjoy it a lot.

    Apex Legends Is simply one of the best Battle Royale games ever made. What makes this game so great is ping system for easy communications, and Titanfall-esque gameplay with charismatic characters.
