Jul 14, 2015Anna’s Quest does in no way stray away from the tried and true adventure formula and doesn’t add anything new to the genre. That’s not to say that it isn’t fun – the story, in its best moments, is quite thrilling and the characters are likeable –, but it isn’t a game that will be remembered for long.

CD-ActionSep 18, 2015Even if it’s not Daedalic’s greatest work, Anna’s Quest is still a strong entry in their catalogue. [09/2015, p.67]

Jul 7, 2015It might rely too much on its ending, but it does offer an engaging experience with a good story and some clever moments.
-
Jul 2, 2015Despite boasting a simple and engaging storyline, Anna's Quest can't fully overcome unambitious gameplay and some frustrating design.

Jul 28, 2015And so overall I didn’t much like Anna’s Quest. It’s just so nice and pleasant that it’s boring. That being said, there isn’t any profanity or violence or meanness to be seen, so it’s definitely a family-friendly game. It also appears to be targeted at young girls, and since that’s not the usual audience for games, it could work in the right situation.

Jul 17, 2015Solid but shallow adventure with loads of references to Grimms fairy tales.

Game World Navigator MagazineAug 21, 2015The fable where innocence is punished, purity of heart is tested, and good guys strive for victory by all means. [Sept 2015, p.79]

Jan 25, 2016It’s an adventure equivalent of tasteless chewing gum. It works OK as filler, but you will not even remember this game a year later.

Aug 10, 2023An amazing puzzle game with a quite good story. It is very funny and has hard riddles but their solution makes sense.
