Anna’s Quest is a shrug of a graphic adventure. It goes to familiar fairy tale places for familiar fairy tale stories, but without the wit or edge to make it worth the re-telling. Not even a strong ending and a couple of high-concept digressions can pull it out of its safe rut.

Anna´s Quest is a point and click journey. I typically really enjoy Point and Click Adventure games and this one is quite special. It's likelyAnna´s Quest is a point and click journey. I typically really enjoy Point and Click Adventure games and this one is quite special. It's likely the single best one that I really really enjoyed and would genuinely recommend. The story is unique and you get uniquely attached to a few of the characters over time. It's also the perfect length of a journey. It’s a long enough story to satisfy but not too long that being to drag on, or unwelcome the length for the adventure to remain fun. The art style is really nicely done and perfectly adds to the slightly unsettling atmosphere the story develops. Oh and finally the most important part. I actually could solve the puzzles! I looked at the walk through once for Anna´s Quest and not that the game was said to be easy it just intro…agued me. It took me hours to figure out some of the puzzles, but the answer was always intuitive and because of that: solvable. Basically this has been the only point and click adventure game I have actually enjoyed because of the story and atmosphere and hard yet solvable puzzles it includes. So with that in mind if you aren’t typically a point and click gamer but enjoy puzzle solving you will likely really enjoy the journey on offer by Anna´s Quest. So given the difference in the game to the usual formulas, you’ll probably want to head on over to the Xbox digital games store and give it a try today. The price of admission is fair for the journey at hand and it’s very possible you will find the well executed game inside of Anna´s Quest. Expand
