Apr 29, 2025Like your standard Soulslike, AI Limit is set in a dying world that is on the cusp of being snuffed out altogether. Though, at least it's somewhat original in how this miserable state of affairs came to pass.

Mar 26, 2025With its immersive visuals, fantastic audio, and surprisingly low price, AI LIMIT is an easy recommendation despite a few rough spots. It throws you into a bleak, tragic world where the struggles of its inhabitants take center stage long before your own story unfolds. Its stamina-free combat adds a fresh twist to the souls-like formula, though some mechanics—stealth in particular—could use serious improvement.

Apr 11, 2025AI LIMIT does an excellent job when it comes to focusing on exploration and exhilarating, visually appealing battles. Its game world is excellently made, and the story, while not incredible, is serviceable. Throughout playing AI LIMIT, I always felt a part of this post-apocalyptic world and found myself in Arrisa’s shoes, trying to survive. If you like soulslike games, you’ll find this one to be very interesting, especially since it offers a fresh take on the genre with its sync rate and innovative bosses. You can’t go wrong with it, even if the game isn’t as long as others in the genre, as you’ll find mostly everything in roughly 30 hours. It has a great art style, and it comes with some explosives battles that make it well worth a shot!

Mar 26, 2025AI Limit is a game best suited for dedicated Souls-like enthusiasts. It delivers a strong sense of exploration, offering fresh ideas and clever nods to classic genre staples, even for those well-versed in similar titles.

Mar 27, 2026AI LIMIT: Eirene’s Furnace of War delivers a combat-focused post-game DLC that retools the base experience into a roguelike structure, offering tougher encounters and rewarding mechanical depth while sacrificing the exploration and variety that originally defined it. Its core loop can feel repetitive and occasionally undermined by permanent upgrades, yet the heightened difficulty, Chaos Rifts, and reworked enemies breathe new life into the combat system for players seeking a greater challenge. Ultimately, it is a divisive but compelling add-on best suited for fans craving more of AI LIMIT’s fast, measured combat at the expense of broader design balance.

Apr 17, 2025If you're a fan of games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Lies of P, AI Limit is a decent entry on the same end of the soulslike spectrum. Don't expect graphics, level design, or combat on par with the two aforementioned games, but instead a simple soulslike, with a few good ideas, some nice weapons, and actually pretty good character design.

Mar 27, 2025Ultimately, AI Limit does not have the scope or impact that titles such as Elden Ring and Bloodborne have but it still manages to hold its own in the soulslike genre thanks to its unique combat system and engaging environment. However, I still believe that such an environment and story is wasted on occasion and AI Limit could have benefited from straying away from the soulslike genre to explore a more RPG-focused narrative.
