Small, but stunning game, gorgeous atmosphere and art, enjoyable and beautiful sound and music and interesting storytelling, if there is a game, that can be called Amazing In the literal sense of the word, then this is it, game is small, do not have lots of gameplay, do not have much action or deep puzzles, but have interesting world and its beautiful story.
Great game to relax and dive

Great game to relax and dive in to another world.
Also, if you ever dreamed to be a bird, then you have to play it.

Beautiful, melancholic "Journey" with an aestetic from "Ashen" with the freedom of a bird in the sky fulfilling our need of exploration with words of wisdom, prayer and hope for the betterment of mankind.
This 3 hour work of art must be experienced to fully understand it's message and meaning.

This game is not so much a puzzle platformer as an exploration game. The story was great. The mechanics were alright, though the flying too some getting used to. The world is pretty barren of land and people to really get invested in why I should care about saving this place. The puzzles could have been a little more interesting.

I really enjoyed this game but there are a few things that need to be addressed. First the graphics, there not something spacial but I think they compliment the tone of the game pretty well so expect from a few visual bugs well done there.

The controls are not the best especially when you are walking around but flying is ok. The game is not for everyone the game doesn't give you a clear

The game is not for everyone the game doesn't give you a clear path to follow and let's you discover things on you own. Personally I like this type of games so I had no problem. The story wasn't something special but not bad either. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact there was not a journal or a book so you can gather the information that you find about the story and world . I found my self confused near the end because there was so much information to keep track . The sound design was really good. Overall Aer: memories of old is a 3 and a half hours game with a bittersweet ending and a story about human greed

A simple but very cute game. You can walk through in two to three hours. It has a very interesting visual style - minimalistic, but very beautiful. Riddles are simple, but interesting enough.

Well, what can I say... (played this game before on epic) An amazing game with amazing indie visuals, great cutsceneless storyline that will keep everyone satisfied, great mechanix, character designs, great soundtrack... i could keep on forever. I could go about this game forever, but you should see for yourself.

Their ins't a lot of story to the game and the lore is quite boring. You are in a broken world and you have the power to turn into a bird. I loved the flying aspect of the game to go from one point to another and the music while flying is the cherry on top. Flying around and then turning back into the human mid-flight to fall and turn back again into the bird was lots of fun.

"AER: Memories of Old" proved to be a relatively short but surprisingly enjoyable experience. Initially, I didn't have a positive impression of the game, mainly due to the character movement when not in flight mode, which felt somewhat off, and my initial confusion about what to do. These factors led to some frustration and dislike towards the game. Initially, I didn't have a positive impression of the game, mainly due to the character movement when not in flight mode, which felt somewhat off, and my initial confusion about what to do. These factors led to some frustration and dislike towards the game. However, I soon realized that the key to enjoying this game is to approach it with an exploratory mindset. Once I adopted this approach and went with the flow, my perspective changed entirely, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying the journey.

One of the game's standout features is its freedom in gameplay. It doesn't hold your hand and explicitly tell you what to do. Instead, it presents you with tasks to advance the story, but it's up to you to discover and choose when to tackle them. This open-endedness allows you to explore the world at your own pace and immerse yourself fully in the experience. The story is intriguing and unfolds through dialogues and text throughout the game, making it essential not to skip them. By paying attention to these interactions, you'll be able to fully grasp the depth of the narrative and understand what's really going on.

While "AER: Memories of Old" may not be considered a masterpiece by some, I believe it deserves a playthrough for its unique and enjoyable elements. Playing the game with a relaxed mindset, without rushing the experience, is the key to fully appreciating the exploration aspect it offers. In a gaming landscape dominated by fast-paced action and intense challenges, this game serves as a refreshing change of pace, offering a calm and tranquil experience that sets it apart from most other video games out there.

Wonderful "Contemplative" adventure from the currently defunct Swedish studio Forgotten Key and distributed by Daedalic Entertainment, a first-rate artistic seal of quality and a brainy narrative. The title invites us to explore, however, with the exception of some animals and colorful environments, it does not offer any additional incentive beyond discovering the map.

The game is navigated in a cool way and has no map, the game design and level design was excellent, it had beautiful music and a beautiful story was written for it and it didn't make me confused, the characterizations were interesting in my opinion, I played the game twice It had a bug that made me have to continue from the previous saved place the second time, but I saw two bugs in total.

AER creates a beautiful fantasy world with a wonderful flying mechanic to explore it, but ultimately doesn’t give players much to do besides repetitive platforming puzzles.

AER is a pretty and charming game, but doesn’t have enough of its own original ideas to feel fresh, and it is plagued by a few flaws that prevent it from being a true standout in the genre of artsy indie exploration games. That said, the experience itself is fun and pleasant, even if it isn’t particularly memorable. If you already like these kinds of games, you’ll enjoy AER, but if you don’t, this isn’t what will make you fall in love with them.

Featuring a stunning low-poly art style, a wonderfully well-integrated soundtrack, an ingeniously simple control scheme, an interesting transformation mechanic, and impressively designed temples, AER has a lot going for it. It’s unfortunate that the experience is as short as it is and there is no way to keep track of what’s been seen. A few more environmental puzzles and a simple journal would fix my only complaints about this exploration-heavy title.
