May 18, 2026Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Switch 2 is a commendable port. Despite technical compromises like dynamic resolution (540p-1080p docked, 360p-720p handheld) and texture compression to fit a 64GB cartridge, it impressively retains ray-traced global illumination and runs locally at 30 FPS. While frame drops occur in busy areas and textures are noticeably reduced, especially in handheld mode, the game delivers a visually faithful and well-optimized experience for the hybrid console, avoiding cloud streaming or large downloads. The HD Rumble implementation is also praised.
