May 12, 2026Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Switch 2 is another miracle port for the console. Gone are the days of playing third party games on a Nintendo console and feeling like you’re getting a sub-par experience. Despite some necessary concessions, this is a good port of a great game and you’ll enjoy your time with Indy here as much as you would anywhere else. [Switch 2 impressions]

May 12, 2026While we need a bit more time to test later portions of the game on Nintendo Switch 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of the better Switch 2 ports so far in the AAA space, retaining the game’s identity and delivering a solid portable experience. It isn’t as good as the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 or even the recent Dynasty Warriors: Origins port, but I like it more than Final Fantasy VII Rebirth based on that demo. Stay tuned for our final score in the near future. [Review in Progress]

May 13, 2026MachineGames handled the port internally, without relying on specialized third-party studios; while the result is generally convincing, it involves certain technical choices that are worth knowing about before making a purchase.

May 12, 2026All of the inherent strengths of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle remain in place on the Switch 2, and it performs surprisingly well overall. If the team can improve some of the lighting and shadowing issues, it would be a nigh-on perfect port, of one of the best games of recent years. [Switch 2 impressions]
