  1. Everything a Wipeout fan could expect and though lacking any massive improvement in the single player mode, the game easily beats out F-Zero X as the best futuristic racer on the 64.
  2. WipeOut 64 isn't horrible, it just feels like the developer's first effort for the system at times - which it is. The one- and two-player modes are worth exploring, but the game will still likely be disappointing for hard-core fans of the series who expected more improvements after the two-year wait.

Cool tracks filled with power-ups (Mario Kart style) that allow you to chase and destroy your enemies. One of the best futuristic racers ever made. The only downside is about the graphics, they are a direct port from PS which is an inferior hardware. Still, this is a very good game. Full Review »

The only problem is the astonishing absence of a league mode, meaning that you can only play challenges - which are a little too difficult for the casual gamer - one race at a time which is just plain weird for a racing game. Otherwise, it's a top notch futuristic racer which I personally prefer to F-Zero. Full Review »
