    This game seems to be stuck at a 99 when it should be at 100, it was a staple in adventuring, I know people like to think of Mario being the golden child of Nintendo, but to me, Ocarina of Time speaks volumes of fantasy that can't be compared to any other game during it's time!

    One of the games I grew up with in the N64 era (I played A Link To The Past before this one). We had many evenings adventuring through OOT together (dad, mom, brother and me).
    I know this game in and out basically.
    It's part of my childhood and if you want to show someone what an iconic Zelda game looks like; show them OOT (and A Link To The Past).     This was the game. I loved it. Me and my little brother played this game over and over it was so fun. The only dungeon I hate is the water temple but it makes sense as a temple.

    Thank you for the best childhood memories that I have when I look back. My mother always loved watching me play OOT and she always recognizes Link from the Legend of Zelda despite being over 60 Years old. Man i get tears in my eyes while I'm writing.

Something I want to mention is the exploration that the game offers, and that is something that seems super important to me if your game is not open world. What do I mean about exploration? Well, I mean the secrets that each area you visit offers you, that you didn't even see a passageway that led to a piece of heart, etc. Games like BioShock perfected this with an element called suspense. Well, to finish this one, which is my first review, I wanted to say that if you don't care about graphics, this game is 100/100 recommended.… Expand

    Ocarina of Time is probably one of the best open worlds I've played. Even today it's better than many open world games. Definitely a revolution compared to 1998. I still remember the sweet music used in the game. The characters are very well written and memorable. The story is beautiful. Level design is amazing. Switching between the two times added a difference to the game.
    But there are two parts I don't like;
    1_) Water Tample: Constantly changing items and backtracking is very tiring.
    2_) Some solutions are not clear: You don't know what to do for hours when Navi's help doesn't help either. In some places I had to seek help from the forums for a solution. Especially in the first quarter of the game, the game is not new player friendly. In some puzzles, you may not know what to do.
    Other than that, I was amazed by everything in the game. I was quite mesmerized. It's incredible to make a game like this in those years.    … Expand

    First of all, the music is excellent. Absolutely perfect, no further explanation. There is so much music for every case and they are going to fit in the mood perfectly. Koji Kondo did a great job.

    I think the Nintendo team created the puzzles incredibly clever. Sometimes you need to think for 10-20 minutes to beat the puzzle. After finishing the puzzle, you say how I couldn't think that.

    Best game of all time, no doubt about it. The old graphics are not the best yet charming. Gameplay holds up really well. Camera is not the best but understandable for a N64 game. Steady progression and almost never did i get stuck or didn't know where to go. Items are hidden in clever places. Bosses are just the right amount of difficult not to hard and also not to easy.
