    One of the first 3D games ever made and still one of the best! Gameplay and level design is amazing. This game is so fun and a masterpiece. This was the best way to turn Mario to 3D from 2D! Everyone must play this game!

    The best 3D perspective platforms of the 90's generation and probably the best platforms to date. Easy to play hard to master. Great variety of worlds and enemies. Waste of imagination and creativity. Unforgettable soundtrack. Nothing bad to say about this game. 10/10.

    Great game very fun only problem is wonky camera angles my real rating would be 9.5 if decimals were allowed in ratings.

    The only thing to complain about regarding this game is that the graphics have not aged very well. For Nintendo to hit the ball so far out of the park on their first attempt is nothing short of amazing. This is still a good contender for title of best 3d platformer of all time, and simply a game full of joy and fun.

    Maaaan what a game. This is by far the greatest Mario game ever created by Nintendo. Like, this game has so much more heart than some of the modern Mario games like New. Super Mario Bros. The difficculty is one of the most balanced in the video game history, the soundtrack is so damn gorgeous, and every stage leaves you with this feeling of wanting to explore more.     This game is a masterpiece. As someone has no nostalgia for this game (the first time I played was the Ds version in 2016. I played the original game on my wii u in May of 2020) this game is a classic. Everyone should play this game. The music is incredible, the levels have the perfect amount of style and substance. If you want to beat the game with 70 stars it will take you maybe 10 hours. Going for the 120 stars is much more tins consuming with the 50 stars remaining being harder than the first 70. The difficulty curve is steep, but if you managed to collect enough stars to get to the hard levels, you can master the games mechanics and get the rest. This game started an entire genre, and it still has yet to topped on a mechanical level. Other games may be more consistently fun, but this game trumps them on how you want to make your fun. Almost every star can be done differently. This game is easy to learn, and difficult to master. By current (and past) standards this game has stood the test of time and deserves a perfect 10. But then theres this stupid monkey that constantly steals your hat so the game gets a 9… Expand

    One of the greatest Nintendo 64 games! Although the story (as with any other Mario game) is bland, the gameplay is fantastic with graphics that still hold up and loads of exploration. 10/10!

    The first game I finished in my life, which makes it very special for me. Something unimaginable for the epoch that launched, set standards that would be followed by 3D platform games until today. He aged very well, as it is a very fun game to play today.

    Controls are not that good but it doesn't ruin the game for me but collecting stars and defeating stages is super fun. Might be my favourite Mario game next to SMG2!

    Super Mario 64 is perhaps one of the best 3D platformer I've ever played period. There are some amazing moments in the game but my only problem with the game is the controls. But once you've mastered it the game has never felt better to play! 9/10 - perhaps the best Mario game I've ever played!

    9.4/10 A gaming experience that still holds up to this day. The amount of content in this game is extraordinary for it’s time and keeps the player engaged throughout the entirety of the play through.

    This game is super fun, but can also be frustrating with a clunky camera, and blocky controls. The graphics are amazing for its time, and has lots of levels to play! The game probably has the ugliest textures in a mario game, but it kind of works with this game for the better, making it look very classic and fun!

I was about 7 years old when I first got Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 and the second I started it I fell in love with it and even all these years later it's still an amazing game that's graphics STILL hold up. I've made sure I've had this game on every system it's released for since. It revolutionised a lot in gaming if you haven't played itLiterally my favourite game of all time..     Super Mario 64 in my opinion is one of the most enjoyable and entertaining games I've played so far. Everything in this game was so perfectly created and woven so that it works with everything else very well. It has a good story, it controls well, it looks great, and it also sounds great, and would you believe it? it runs great! Obviously no game is perfect, but this game got a heck a tonSuper Mario 64 in my opinion is one of the most enjoyable and entertaining games I've played so far.     I have to give this game credit for being one of the most important games of all time. I didn’t grow up with it but my brother did, I played it a lot when he gave me his N64 in 2011, the camera can be wonky, the game itself is pretty good just nothing special but it gives a higher rating for being so important.

    Super Mario 64 is one of the most influential games of all time and my personal favorite. With a great soundtrack, fun level design, and movement that still holds up today, this game is still without a doubt worth playing. If you're into platformers and you haven't already, give this game a shot.

    I'm sorry but this game is a 10, i do have some problems with it like too many objectives in one level can make you tired of playing the same level but that's not really a big deal, mario's movements in this game and odyssey are the most diverse in the 3d marios

    It was great for its time but it's a little bit outdated by today's standard. It's level design, variety and soundtrack have all stood the test of time. But the really bad camera, clunky controls and the constant frustration of getting kicked out of levels after dying can ruin the fun a bit.

    The distribution of power stars in the levels is horrendous. I think 7 stars in one level is more than enough, don't you think? I understand that there are memory constraints, but there either could have been less stars overall, or 1 (maybe 2) more level(s). Definately a problem.
