    As removed from arbitrary goals and expectations as the original game, and perhaps more so, Forgotten Shores is a guided tour of unfettered imagination. There is challenge to be found, certainly, but not in the lifeless, measurable sense.

    I'm personally very happy with this extra set of levels, though I still see a lot of possibilities waiting to be explored should Ustwo decide to follow up Monument Valley with a stand-alone sequel in the future.

    A couple of ectra levels for the base game - a bit more difficult and creative but this is what I would expect for DLC.

Although it is in the same visual style, I found Forgotten Shores to be more aesthetically pleasing with bolder colors and more unique landscapes. The puzzles, while not difficult, do allow for some fun brain twisting. The story is not progressed at all, you just walk around solving puzzles and leaving relics at the end of each monument. Overall I felt more "wow" moments than in the original game. For the price of $2 you get about an hour of game play with little to no replay-ability. If you enjoyed the first game, you will enjoy this as it is more of the same, just a little bit better.… Full Review »

    I really like the Monument Valley game, and when I found out that it made additional bite him right away. Perhaps the only negative in length could be attributed to it, because scrolling out in about an hour.… Full Review »
