Jun 8, 2022The monetization is straight up diabolical. I am okay with spending a few dollars a month on something like cosmetics. But if the game forces me to pay hundreds of dollars to even have a chance to progress then I have no desire to participate. Greediness at it's peak. 0/10.
-
Jun 8, 2022i had to come here to put a decent 0.
you may enjoy this game if you put your entire salary every month until you starve to death. -
Jun 8, 2022Dystopian business model. Immoral. Appalling. Disgusting.
There has to be a better way than this. -
Jun 8, 2022Worst predatory monetization system in a AAA title as of 2022.
I love Diablo and old Blizzard. They promised to change our minds, they did. I never though it could be THIS bad.
0/10, don't support this -
Jun 8, 2022I don't even know why they named it "diablo".
A better name would be something like "credit card smasher" or "money crusher".
If you don't want to accumulate debts, you should keep your hands off the game. -
Jun 8, 2022First this is nothing more than a poor version of diablo 3.
Second the microtransactions system is just ruining the game just like all Pay to Win games.
Boycott this and spend your money elsewhere useful. -
Jun 7, 2022That saddest part of all this is that the game itself is very fun. However, knowing that I will always be behind my friends who spend money on this game has really put me off from playing at all. This is a new low for mobile games, which says a lot about how unreasonable, predatory, and greedy the in-game monetization is. Shame on you, Blizzard.

Jun 8, 2022Do You Guys dont have Money?! xD nothing more can be said about it....
-
Jun 8, 2022These developers have absolutely no shame. This game should never have been made. Absolute disgrace.
-
Jun 8, 2022Pay to win. Shameful D3 old content and zero skill necessary. So sad that it could have been a great game but they made everything on autopilot, even the quests.
-
Jun 8, 2022scummy **** p2w garbage from a scummy **** company, who would have thought?
-
Jun 8, 2022As long as people download and buys those gacha/p2w games they will continue to milk it. Do the right thing and never ever support this.

-
Jun 8, 2022NOT a Diablo game experience, the whole game seems to be built around the pay2win element, no way to just play when one wants to. Have to log in and do the dailies, nothing more, nothing less. Be prepared to pay if u want to be ahead of the rest.

Jun 8, 20223 minutes in and i'm immediatly hit with a microtransaction...
One of the lowest points in gaming history -
Jun 8, 2022It's really a shame because this could have been fun and introduced a new loyal audience to this beloved classic game. However, it's a predatory disaster of greed perpetrated by a company now beholden to profit over quality. Such a shame. D2R did things right. This is embarrassing and shameful.
-
Jun 8, 2022Too much p2w! fun in start but when you start to understand how important legeandry gems are its gets a bit sad.. i like pvp the moost but kinda unplayable when ppl are so much stronger cuz they spend a LOT of money!
-
Jun 8, 2022There are so many psychological tricks in this game that will get you to spend money on the cash shop. It is despicable.
-
Jun 8, 2022Decent graphics and atmosphere for a mobile game, though predatory micro transactions make this a clear 0/10. Hope there will be more legislation like in Belgium that bans predatory games like this across the globe.
-
Jun 8, 2022its an extremely greedy money grabbing game with a pay to win experience of diablo 3. absolute trash and the worst way to destroy the diablo franchise
-
Jun 8, 2022Lame game. Not even close to the Diablo series. This is absolutely not the way how gaming should work. M$/Blz GFY
-
Jun 8, 2022Blizzard, Blizzard ,Biizzard, a shadow of your former selves, you have sunk so low in the scumbag title, that scumbags are thought of higher than you are now.
100k+ to max a character out, what on earth is that all about? -
Jun 8, 2022Fantastically polished and fun gameplay, but so riddled with pay-to-win wale hunting microtransactions that it shouldn't be played by anoyone with even an ounce of self respect. This game in the end is nothing more than an app designed to make as much money as quickly as possible by scamming Blizzards customers.
-
Jun 8, 2022We waited for how many years for this. And this is what you'll present? Years of thinking on ways to maximize and revolutionize monetization?
-
Jun 8, 2022No. Absolutley no.
I was looking forward to Diablo Immortal. A diablo for mobile. Wow.
But this kind of monetization is TO heavy.
25€-Skins are bound to the character (not even to the server or account), 25€ for 10 legendary crests.
No way.
Blizzard is going down a path that I will not follow. -
Jun 8, 2022Didn't played the game and will never do either. But this kind of insane corporate greed should be punished with a 0 rating! This is a big **** you for their fanbase and gamers in general.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 29, 2024I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game. Edge MagazineJul 14, 2022To see it submit to mobile gaming's worst tendencies, rather than make any effort to be different, to be better, is galling. It may be flashy and efficient as both a Diablo game and a mobile game, but Immortal offers little that is bold, ambitious or innovative. Instead, its structure and pacing is designed with one goal in mind: to squeeze as much cash out of every player as it can. [Issue#374, p.110]

Jul 13, 2022It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
