    It's really a shame because this could have been fun and introduced a new loyal audience to this beloved classic game. However, it's a predatory disaster of greed perpetrated by a company now beholden to profit over quality. Such a shame. D2R did things right. This is embarrassing and shameful.

    The story is actually pretty good, considering the rating I've given. The story and writting is better than d3, much darker feeling. It's cool how it links d2 and d3 together in a solid way.

    NOT a Diablo game experience, the whole game seems to be built around the pay2win element, no way to just play when one wants to. Have to log in and do the dailies, nothing more, nothing less. Be prepared to pay if u want to be ahead of the rest.

    The sad and frustrating thing about all of this is, that it ruins such a beloved franchise. The game could actually be a very good mobile game but the immoral and disgusting monetization model just ruins it completely and makes for a miserable F2P (or "pay-a-reasonable-amount" 2 play) experience.

The skillsystem is drastically weaker than in other diablo games and the lategame is reduced to farming 1 2 minute dungeon over and over for gear and xp. not even gonna talk about the crests and gems. after 60 you are required to have a party to even play dungeons, so solo play isnt an option. adding another negative, youTo keep things short, gameplay is actually good, hence the point. Gems are Itemization as per any MMO or ARPG that make use of a system to increase power of your gear once you've maxed it out. This adds another layer to increasing character power.

    Can I complete the Hell difficulties without every upgrading any of the 1 Star Gems or do I have to get 5 star gems to participate in that content.

    There is not much left of the good old memories of Blizzard playing D1, D2 and late D3 ... NetEase has done a good job with their mobile technology and the game is also a lot of fun at first ... but when level 60 is    Blizzard Entertainment has finally lost its 'entertainment' ... the game feels like a casino visit and has nothing in common with skill/character planning/tactics anymore.

    There is not much left of the good old memories of Blizzard playing D1, D2 and late D3 ... NetEase has done a good job with their mobile technology and the game is also a lot of fun at first ... but when level 60 is reached and the endgame comes, you wake up and see how they want to take your money without giving you anything in return ... other games you've played so far (e.g. Call of Duty) give you the option to shop - but you don't have to do it ... sometimes you see advertisements and sometimes you feel it's necessary to give something back for the free play, be it Battlepass or a skin pack ... it feels good ...

    And if you consider that this game was developed in four years, almost as a copy & paste of D3, what did they do with it for so long? ... 5 days for the blank announcement screen, the communication about "we don't sell gear" ... the very simple story and constant 'you need to be level xx' to continue ... the Mmorg style of gameplay as you head towards some cool 'save the world' missions with multiple people at once, wondering when the next solo dungeon will come so some immersion is maintained ...

    Just a pity ... also because it's totally open, how Diablo 4 positions itself against it - mathematically it will be worth it for Activision ... unfortunately not for the players.    … Expand

    I have no words for how wrong this is... i have played the game I am now Lvl 35 its very disturbing how many Real money transactions they have... it plays good I hope it shares all the best parts of itself. is shared with diablo 4. the RMT is dumb and makes it a 0 in my book.

    I wished, i REALLY wished there wa something actually positive to say about this "game".
    Still trying to get something positive, I probably should consider the actual gameplay kinda good, if i ignore all the map block are a clear ripoff    Lucky for me, the only thing i spent into this game was like 8 hours, enough to reach lvl 45, enough to experience all the BAD this game is permeated.

    The micro transactions curtail any sort of meaningful end-game. You shouldn't have to spend money for the privilege of being able to grind for better gear. The game should be re-released for $19.99 with no micro transactions.

    THE BAD: So much monetization in this game that it actually took me by surprise, starting after defeating the first boss (if my memory serves me right), and ramping up like a snowball through the whole game. Blizzard uses pretty much every psychological leverage to pump as much money as possible from you and creates a system which is clearly pay-to-win, no matter how you define it. A person who dumps money into this game, compared to free-to-play can reach 2,3 or X times stronger. No matter your time investment into the game, you won't be competitive no matter what you do, that is unless you are pumping cash into the game like mad. Just watch any YouTube video where people analyze it, or try playing yourself and see, I sure have. Some clans in game won't even accept you unless you are a paying player.

    This is a dirty stain on Blizzard's reputation and it will probably rub off on Diablo 4 and any other project they will create.    … Expand

    Yeah, I have to agree with the many reviewers on microtransactions. You play this for long enough and you realise the sheer difference between you and the P2W players. No Diablo game should be like this, and it's placed a blemish, a scar, on the franchise. I even made an account here to review the game, as people need to understand what they're getting into by playing this game.

Simple they put very single sleezy mobile micro transactions that has ever been made. They make it seem like it will happen but they slowly try to groom you into it then bam pay wall.     This is just one of the worst Pay2Win games on the market. You will feel like trash being free to play player that gets bread crumbs every month. You will get owned in PVP by people who spend money. You will feel bad for your gear not being good because you can't pay money. This is just absurd.

As a FTP player I was grinding for hours as paragon 12 with literally minimum progression. Reports say now it would take 10 years to max a single character as FTP or over $110000 USD!!     Absolutely atrocious monetization that puts the most pay to win mobile games to shame. We cannot let these practices become commonplace especially with how the world is right now, inflation is at an all time high and they want you to spend 100$ for a level 3 gem? No thanks. Please don't spend a single dime in thos game and send a message to the greedy corporation that is blizzard.

    I'll give it a 1 because I got at least a few days of entertainment out of it. Without dumping loads of money. I dropped maybe 40 bucks on this game. Which I knew how much of a mistake this was. I was bias and instantly dropped money on the battle pass and stuff because it's DIABLO. but as I completed the story line. Reached a power wall.     Incredibly p2w. Yeah guys it was 5 years of waiting for this bs where everything is capped for free players. I was ready to support the game if it meant the same business model as riot with the selling of cosmetics but seeing it as it is now I just hope the game dies already

    The UI is so bad. Anything I do covers the mini map. And I cant bring the buttons on the right side to be lower.
    The game design is also kinda weird. Why do I have to click everywhere to get 2 cent reward anytime I do anything as simple of walk.

    Aleta de Spoiler, vai chegar uma hora que o jogo vai te parar e te obrigar a pagar pra ficar forte, e pelo sistema de P2W do jogo, você vai precisar gastar NO MÍNIMO 40 mil reais. Mas caso você se recuse, estimam que você pode levar em média 10 ANOS pra terminar o jogo, jogue por sua conta bancária em risco

    Diablo III's simplistic graphics and game play are perfect for a great mobile experience. But by adding pay-to-win elements to, you destroy the meta entirely.

    it's the typical mobile game that offers you micro transactions but in a way that **** your eyes and makes you hate blizzard much more, they literally prostituted DIABLO and also has a bug that breaks your save, even if it's a beta IT'S A **** ; yes, if you have a lot of free time it is better than nothing

    Diablo Immortal has such great potential, but the horrific catering to whales makes the game pointless to play in end-game without spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on Legendary Crests. It would take a Free-to-Play player years of grinding to get anywhere close to a functional build.

    Good gameplay. All the rest is a whole new level of P2W trash and an insult to gamers. You have to pay for equipment and CANNOT obtain such equipment without paying absurd amount of money. Do not support such a business model from a company that turned from respectable to a dumpster fire over the years.

    Blizzard had an opportunity to advance mobile gaming forward--to show the world that it can be comparable to playing a game on a PC or console. To prove all the haters at BlizzCon wrong. They could have easily done so because the game is actually... really fun.

    But the monetization ruined their chance.

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
