The simple to understand game mechanic of delays and time kept leading me down more and more paths of strategy the longer I played. This is definitely one of those "minute to learn, lifetime to master" games. You can burst out of the gate as a beginner and feel like you understand the game and do pretty well, but the longer you play the more the game reveals itself to you – and that's the mark of a great experience.

Assassin's Creed Recollection was an unexpected surprise. Thanks to its mix of strategy and time-based experience, the game offers innovative mechanics that will make happy both the fans of Ezio Auditore and the TCG enthusiasts.

Assassin's Creed Recollection is a great game in the app store scene with an over the top offer that overwhelms lots of NDS and PSP recent productions. A must buy for who love card games.

A genuinely engaging card game with a surprising depth of strategy. Hopefully Ubisoft will be prompt in fixing the bugs, but the core game is intact in the meantime. Just go easy on the IAP.

Recollection's rules are smart, sharp, and pleasingly unique. The Creed-themed campaign is very enjoyable, but prepare to pay out for booster packs if you want to compete online.

It's a great package for card game fans and Assassin's Creed fans alike. The story mode within Assassin's Creed Recollection promises 8-10 hours of fun and the online multiplayer will no doubt extend that. Throw in the time it'll take to collect all 280 cards/memories and there's a lot of gameplay to be had for fans of the franchise.

This is one of the best trading-card games in the AppStore. But you're forced to buy new cards via microtransactions much too early – you can't even finish the campaign without some additional booster packs.

A surprisingly deep and layered collectable card game based on an excellent gaming world.

IAP purchases are mandatory, due not only to extremely high price / low rewards, but an actual cap to the amount of money you can earn byIAP purchases are mandatory, due not only to extremely high price / low rewards, but an actual cap to the amount of money you can earn by playing the missions. After clearing all of them, you can afford... one "assassins booster."

You have to make a "uplay" account in order to get new cards at all. And you'll have to be online when you do it. Did I mention that the uplay servers were broken yesterday? And some of today? The best part is that I ended up losing some of the cards I had unlocked. Multiplayer is frustrating (because you'll be playing against the people who bought IAP) and very unrewarding. If your opponent quits, you get nothing. Even if you win, you get very little.

A promising game that is made frustrating and disgusting by trying to hold back parts of it until you fork over extra cash. The app is on sale for $0.99 right now, but good luck trying to assemble a themed deck without paying $10 or more.
