Dec 8, 2011The simple to understand game mechanic of delays and time kept leading me down more and more paths of strategy the longer I played. This is definitely one of those "minute to learn, lifetime to master" games. You can burst out of the gate as a beginner and feel like you understand the game and do pretty well, but the longer you play the more the game reveals itself to you – and that's the mark of a great experience.

Jul 25, 2012Assassin's Creed Recollection was an unexpected surprise. Thanks to its mix of strategy and time-based experience, the game offers innovative mechanics that will make happy both the fans of Ezio Auditore and the TCG enthusiasts.

Dec 28, 2011Assassin's Creed Recollection is a great game in the app store scene with an over the top offer that overwhelms lots of NDS and PSP recent productions. A must buy for who love card games.
-
Dec 12, 2011A genuinely engaging card game with a surprising depth of strategy. Hopefully Ubisoft will be prompt in fixing the bugs, but the core game is intact in the meantime. Just go easy on the IAP.
-
Dec 5, 2011Recollection's rules are smart, sharp, and pleasingly unique. The Creed-themed campaign is very enjoyable, but prepare to pay out for booster packs if you want to compete online.
-
Dec 1, 2011It's a great package for card game fans and Assassin's Creed fans alike. The story mode within Assassin's Creed Recollection promises 8-10 hours of fun and the online multiplayer will no doubt extend that. Throw in the time it'll take to collect all 280 cards/memories and there's a lot of gameplay to be had for fans of the franchise.
-
Mar 14, 2012This is one of the best trading-card games in the AppStore. But you're forced to buy new cards via microtransactions much too early – you can't even finish the campaign without some additional booster packs.
-
Dec 15, 2011A surprisingly deep and layered collectable card game based on an excellent gaming world.
-
Games Master UKFeb 15, 2012A nifty card game let down by a constant nagging to spend more cash on extra decks. [March 2012, p.99]
-
Dec 19, 2011The single-player campaign is fast-paced if rather unforgiving on occasion, and the online community is refreshingly vibrant given the game's steep learning curve. Recollection's only real problems exist in the form of a handful of irritating crash bugs and server disconnects, along with an unwelcome over-eagerness to drive you towards in-app purchases as you seek to bolster your sickly starter deck.
-
Dec 13, 2011Recollection places way too much emphasis on In-App Purchases and its battle system isn't entirely balanced, but I still have a lot of respect for Ubisoft for innovating in a major way with one of their core franchises. I can see myself returning to Recollection's online play for weeks to come.
-
Dec 13, 2011Recollection is a good looking collectible card game based on the popular Assassins Creed franchise. It is at its best in multiplayer games versus human opponents, but lacks some of the depth of i's competitors.

games(TM)Jan 29, 2012The shameless cash-grab approach does a huge disservice to what is a surprisingly accomplished card-based strategy title. [Issue#118, p.107]
