RyanM.Feb 20, 2004This game actually has some quality. It has a fun multiplayer mode, and even a co-op adventure mode. I'm not denying the fact that this game is easy, and this game has no 1 player experience whatsoever, but it does have that joy of pummeling your friends with wacky dodgeballs, and choosing from tons of characters from the memorable movie.

BubbaJ.Dec 3, 2004I loved this game. I bought it so my wife and I could play something togeather (she isn't very coordinated with a game pad), and we had lots of fun. The multiplayer mode kept us laughing all night. My daughter will love this game when she is old enough to play it.

Apr 12, 2020Literally the greatest GameCube game out there! Better than RE4, Super Smash Brothers Melee, and Super Mario Brothers Sunshine!! Immersive gameplay, amazing characters, and an amazing soundtrack. I love seeing Mike and Sully fighting other Monsters Inc. characters! My favorite characters are George and Lanky Schmidt! 10/10 would recommend!

#32 Most Discussed GameCube Game of 2002

Nothing more than an aggressive version of dodge ball, which does contain some initial attraction that unfortunately, quickly, wanes.
-
Nintendo PowerIt serves up a Solo Mode, three different multiplayer modes and several creative variations of basic dodgeball. [Nov 2002, p.224]
-
Game InformerReplicates the movie's charm wonderfully, but its lack of variety hardly qualifies it even as a party game. [Dec 2002, p.130]
