The overall play control is simple and fun, but getting hits to connect is a little rough. [Mar 2003, p.137]

Truly abysmal. Lacks every element that makes a wrestling game playable. Not only are there a wide range of moves missing but even executing Truly abysmal. Lacks every element that makes a wrestling game playable. Not only are there a wide range of moves missing but even executing basic moves such as a suplex or a bodyslam is such a chore. Unbelieveably to perform a wrestlers signature move, you have to run towards your opponent and press L and R at the same time which is actually impossible. Overall the in ring action is slugish and unreponsive. The music is horrible. The graphics are probably the best asset of the game and theyre pretty poor. The wrestlers look like car crash victims. The tournament mode is dogged by repetition and has no depth whatsoever. This game has no merit. However the number of legends included in the game is decent and having a little factfile on each wresler is a nice touch. And they are the good points. Great. The developer clearly didnt think this game out. Well every format needs at least one awful game, so here you go GBA. Full Review »
