Nintendo PowerThe overall play control is simple and fun, but getting hits to connect is a little rough. [Mar 2003, p.137]
-
Legends of Wrestling II's graphics look like they were created by a five-year-old.
-
While the boys on the screen take their fair share of lumps, ultimately it's the gamer that ends up absorbing the most punishment.
-
Well, ladies and gentlemen we have a new winner, or loser as the case may be. Legends of Wrestling II is the worst game I have ever played.
-
Acclaim had to rush the GBA version of the game in order to make the holiday rush, and lets just say it was a disastrous decision.
-
A train wreck of a game... Falls short in every respect.
-
Just downright awful... ugly, clunky, and a chore to play, and should be avoided at all costs.
-
Pocket GamesYou could compile a flip-book with photographs of your favorite wrestlers and make a better game than this. [Aug 2003, p.35]
-
The computer AI is cheap one moment and then brain-dead the next, but the most irritating aspect by far is the overall sluggishness of the action inside the ring.
-
A major disappointment, outside having a super impressive roster of old school wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Iron Sheik, George the Animal Steele, just to name a few. It falls short in every category that makes a great wrestling game fun.
-
Game InformerAvoid this like a used King Kong Bundy jockstrap. [Mar 2003, p.92]
