EatinU.Jun 5, 2008Great, well-rounded action/rpg game.

NeilBranchAug 10, 2008It has great potential with the leveling up system and the main gameplay, but certain elements prevent it from being great. The difficulty seems too easy and the dialogue is lengthy. It is not worth the money, but if it were $10 or $5 you may want to consider it.

AlexanderO.Jun 14, 2008Best game for the DS, I've played for a long time. I love the sprite graphics and the story is not too complicated or overwhelming. The learning curve is great and the controls are as simple as they come. The level of difficulty is lovely and you find yourself, from time to time, trying to pass a boss but you have to find the right combination of spells and brute force.. Lovely game.

Jun 2, 2023RPG-lite with a simplified combat system and very linear structure, but it looks nice and is a pleasant enough way to pass the time.

Nintendo PowerDespite room for improvement, Summon Night is quite enjoyable; what it does, it does very well. [June 2008, p.88]
-
Game InformerThere are worse things out there than grinding levels, and Twin Age controls better than most DS games in the genre. [June 2008, p.101]

The combat is fun, the customization is deep, and the presentation is slick and polished.
