    A good idea not perfected.
One of the biggest games is problems is balance which this game lacks.
The game requires lots of grinding. I liked the game for the story which seems like a redeeming factor but honestly there's better card games out there. It does offer a good soundtrack and story but the game itself is either too easy or unbalanced. Not to mention sometimes when climbing

Not to mention sometimes when climbing the tower you will run into a "how do I progress" type of moment.
The card artwork for many cards comes in really nicely too.
If only an actual fighting game from Capcom and SNK actually came out but for right now, this is like a look into what cross-over games we can get.

It's not a bad game, but it's not the greatest either. I'd say about average with this one that could use many improvements next time.

  1. Where's Wi-Fi? RPG mode? Not a total wash-out, but it is limited. SNK should have spent more time combing the rules and less combing Dante's hair. [JPN Import; Mar 2007, p.73]

More than seven years later, this unexpected DS follow-up doesn't have quite the novelty of its predecessor, but it is one of the better card-battling games out there. [May 2007, p.86]
  3. It is broken in the literal sense of not working as sold and, as such, must be scored appropriately. That the game underneath the bodged localisation is also, figuratively, a broken shell of what it once was and absolutely nowhere near as good as it should have been, is more than anything, deeply, deeply sad.
