Now, he game has a learning curve to it's features and is kind of hard to progress at times. (Grind necessary?).
BUT it's really not as bad as these other reviews say. I was actually surprised by the low scores! I personally enjoy it, but I realize it's not the best. At all. I know this will sound blasphemous, but at times it reminds me of Pokemon: The Trading Card Game. (Forces system

All in all. Its decent. I have fun with it, but often feel at a loss in progression and put it down for later.
And also, it's kind cool seeing all my favorite Capcom vs SNK characters!

  1. Where's Wi-Fi? RPG mode? Not a total wash-out, but it is limited. SNK should have spent more time combing the rules and less combing Dante's hair. [JPN Import; Mar 2007, p.73]

More than seven years later, this unexpected DS follow-up doesn't have quite the novelty of its predecessor, but it is one of the better card-battling games out there. [May 2007, p.86]
  3. It is broken in the literal sense of not working as sold and, as such, must be scored appropriately. That the game underneath the bodged localisation is also, figuratively, a broken shell of what it once was and absolutely nowhere near as good as it should have been, is more than anything, deeply, deeply sad.
