May 13, 2015The original was almost perfect, but this remake fixed every issue I had with it. It is definitely worth buying for either the 3Ds, or the New 3Ds XL.

Sep 17, 2015Nostalgia... same game as N64 tittle...but the 3D effect just look beautiful! If you have a 3DS and love the Zelda franchise this game has to be on your library. Great adventure that uses time a lot, but don't worry, for thius portable edition you can save the game so you don't loose the progress.

Jun 20, 2015Oh my... it seems like they outdid themselves on this one. It has beautiful graphics, trumping that of OoT 3D, it has a much better atmosphere, the timer was changed to be able to understand it better, and everything was, overall better! It greatly improved on the original and makes me look forward to the next zelda game.

Jun 27, 2015One of the most brilliant, exciting, and clever action-adventure RPGs that you will ever play. With a well-written story, excellent graphics, and superb gameplay and dungeon design, this is one of Nintendo's best. This is far more than just a simple port.

Jul 11, 2015Just as good as the original. Purists may think some quality of life changes such as saving on statues or being able to skip every single cutscene with the masks could ruin the feeling of the original, but I have to disagree.
Beautiful graphics, awesome 3D effect, engaging from start to end, I only regret it wasn't ported to Wii U aswell. -
Jul 25, 2015a amazing game remade on the 3ds. because of the 3 day time limit the characters in the game almost feel like real people. not only that but most of the side-quests are really enjoyable. the only downside is that the dungeons (except the last one) really aren't as great as in other titles. but still a great game worth your time.

May 30, 2016A story very well made, charismatic characters, good game play, excellent soundtrack, variety of side quests, witty temples, a difficulty as well, and wonderful quests, now with better graphics and to carry everywhere.

Jan 3, 2017Ahhhhhh, what a breath of fresh air, not because of this game becoming real, but because everyone who thought majora's mask 3D was going to be a Wii U game now looks, retarded
-

Sep 29, 2017Personally, this is my favorite Zelda game, the story isn't the best but its sidequests are where the real meat of this game really is, I can easily get over 15 hours in this game and have replayed it several times without it losing any of the charms I experienced on my first playthrough.

Jan 13, 2019Great game but not as much as the original which is kind of disappointing. For example, It 'fixes' some of the 'issues' with the original which made it what it was, making it more in line with the main series and taking away from it feeling like a gem, and how it feels refreshing and different to play.
-
Jun 8, 2018A remaster of one of the greatest of all time. 9.7/10. That's all. Dragging this out because the review has to be 75 characters minimum.
-
Feb 6, 2018Not having the chance to play this game when it came out on the N64, this amazing remake finetunes this already awesome masterpiece. After 100%ing this game and consuming it i would have it as a must have if you have never played this game and have a 3ds.

May 9, 2018This game... Oh, it's so good! I've never played the original, but just this one is so good! it has perfect controls, an amazing soundtrack, a wide variety of side quests, nice feeling of accomplishment...This game just cannot be skipped if you like playing video games at all.

Nintendo Force MagazineApr 20, 2015Dark, surreal, poignant. Link's foray into the world of Termina – a strange fascimile of Hyrule destined to be crushed beneath a grimacing moon unless our hero can find a way to stop its descent – is certainly one of his most unusual adventures, but it's also one of his best. [Issue #14: Old vs. New – March/April 2015, p.64]

Apr 6, 2015To my immense surprise, I haven’t fallen for a Zelda game like this since I played the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991). Evidence of master craftsmanship is everywhere in this game. By the time you’re flipping a temple upside down then right side up, you may discover that your imagination has been enlarged.
