    If anything, the problem is that ‘timekillers’ happen to be in abundance nowadays – chances are you’re more likely to turn to your cell phone apps before you’ll come back to Kersploosh! after you’ve beaten it. On the other hand, it really is a fun, charming game the first time around, and at $2.99 it’s an easy to justify purchase for someone who wants a refreshing bit of fast fun on their 3DS.

    Don't let the small number of levels put you off: Splash or Crash is not a game to be played through once and put aside. It's an addictive, well-presented game that's all about honing your abilities with each of the unique objects to score the best times possible. Though we wish its leaderboards extended online as well, Splash or Crash comes well recommended.

    With a bit more content and some tweaking, Kersploosh! could have been one of the best games on the 3DS eShop, because as it stands, it's a hard sell for people who like their experiences padded with more content. If you're okay with a short, enjoyable journey to the bottom of a well though, it's more than enough.

    Splash or Crash is lacking in content, but it is only 2 quid, and the gameplay is addictive. The aim is to use the circle pad to guide the object to the bottom of the well as fast as you can while avoiding the obstacles. Obstacles range from pizzas to stars to fan to wooden boards (no comment). There are ten levels, but they don't vary enough, but they are fun nonetheless. You can choose from several different objects, such as an iron ball, a stone, and a watermelon. This is where it gets clever. Some have more HP than others so are easier to use, but those go very slowly. See, there are leaderboards for the fastest time of getting the object the bottom of the well. One stone has only 1 HP, but is the fastest stone, so an expert would use that one to try to beat the high score. I can't even get that stone halfway through the first level! So this is how Splash or Crash appeals to the casual and hardcore audiences. High scores can be traded via streetpass, but there are no online leaderboards.… Full Review »
