Summary: Walking down a crowded street, Kimihiro Watanuki is followed by spirits, which only he can see. However, the spirits disperse as he touches the gate of a mysterious shop; his feet then uncontrollably walk him inside where he is greeted by two assistants, Maru and Moro, of Y?ko Ichihara.

Watanuki soon discovers that Y?ko is a witch who grants wishes, for a price. Out of desperation, Watanuki accepts Y?ko's help. Watanuki realizes he has just been tricked into working for Y?ko in order to pay off the cost of her services. Watanuki will discover the pasts of her customers and the unimaginable secrets they have.
