Summary: DI Joseph Chandler is transferred to Whitechapel to investigate the brutal murder of a young woman in the East End of London. DS Miles suspects the woman's husband, but a self-proclaimed expert on Jack the Ripper insists that the murder echoes one committed by the Ripper 120 years before.
