Westworld looks terrific; its directors have shot its Western locations to stunning effect. But its warmly saturated outdoor scenes and its surface slickness aren’t enough to mask the indecision, condescension, and hollowness at its core.

If you watched the original 1970s sci-fi flick of Michael Crichton's Westworld or watched other terrific shows or films like Game of Thrones,If you watched the original 1970s sci-fi flick of Michael Crichton's Westworld or watched other terrific shows or films like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, The Matrix, Ex-Machina or even played video games like Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect. I highly recommend you to binge onto this show even though you haven't watched the original Westworld. I gotta tell ya that this show really does feel like that you are diving into the story of Red Dead Redemption or The Matrix combined but it sets in the old wild west with androids! The production design, the outstanding writing, the notable actors, and the soundtrack composed by Game of Thrones' and Prison Breaks' Ramin Djawadi is superb! Trust me, it's awesome, it's gripping as hell, it's sexy, it's bloody epic, and quite yet romantic!

PS: I think that A LOT of people will start doing their theories like what they're doing to other shows and this show is one of them and it will get millions of people watching this. Good job HBO for bringing this terrific show onto your lineup! :)

The concept has potential and the production values are amazing. But that can't overcome the fact that the show is just plain boring. 3The concept has potential and the production values are amazing. Geoffrey Wright's characters isn't interesting, only the one droid is at all compelling (the main girl), and other than the geography, it's simply not all the fun to watch. I kept thinking of the series "Humans", and how they dealt with some of these issues so much more intelligently and provocatively. Full Review »
