Esta temporada ha sido genial y mantiene el nivel de la serie a un gran nivel, no se entienden las críticas negativas sinceramente, los capítulos tienen ritmo y hay más variedad en las historias.

this season was amazing as the cinematography really outdid itself along with spectacular action and dialouge. Once again Travis Fimmel shines as Ragnar Lothbrok, but bjorn and lagertha were also very good. and i loved the guy who plays King Ecbert

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I got bored with Vikings in Season 3.5-4.5, or however one is counting and stopped watching. I just picked in back up again. Rather amazingly, to me, is that the series has allowed the original characters to age and/or die and brought up new and fresh characters. Both Alex Høgh Andersen as Ivar, and Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn Lothbrok are fascinating young men. The other sons are find. Lagertha, Rollo, and Kattegat have undergone major renovations and their newness is refreshing. Even the Paris story has become interesting. So, for me, it is like seeing a new 1st season again, with enough continuity to deepen my understanding and appreciation for the history and enough newness to make it all fresh. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not sure what all the negative comments and ratings are about. Sure I think they are spending a "tad" too much time with the Saxons and Franks. But we've still had good moments with the Vikings so far.

The season premier was dope with Rollo betraying his Viking brothers, and Kalf wrecking the Einar dude. We've had Ragnar chaining Floki in the cave, King Harald's entrance into Kattegat which was well done IMO. Ragnar confessing his secrets to Yidu. Lagertha betraying Kalf like she promised last season.

Without doubt one of the most beautifully filmed shows in recent time. Every shot is artistically stunning. Love the characters. Deserves a far better user score than 5's!

Everything on this show is amazing. All the detail that the have presented, it is just incredible. Of course, it is still have a lack of computer graphics while shooting in the ocean, but it is just something it has to be improved in the coming seasons.

This season 4 has started slowly with the first ten episodes, but the 4B part is spectacular, everything has changed and we see that they pushed the show far further than before!

Kattegat has changed, the sons of Ragnar are changed and they come with more craziness, the fate of Ragnar is sealed and now, the storm is coming.

Notice that the soundtrack and the cinematography are beautiful in those new episodes.

Vikings is the best show on TV, plain and simple. The first 2 seasons were the best, and I thought season 4 came back and finished on the upswing. I wish they made more episodes every year.

The story is as brutally simple (as were the Vikings, so the series suggests): Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), a farmer when he's not being a warrior,
    Brilliant series

This show has seriously fallen off this season, but still, for me at least, it's must see TV, I forward through all the girl/boy talking scenes no matter who's doing it, lol, I want to see the action, and that's it, hopefully tonight's season finale will be redemptive, but this whole "Walking Dead/Fill up an episode with cheap no frills walking & talking" isn't going to do it for me nextThis show has seriously fallen off this season, but still, for me at least, it's must see TV, I forward through all the girl/boy talking scenes no matter who's doing it, lol, I want to see the action, and that's it, hopefully tonight's season finale will be redemptive, but this whole "Walking Dead/Fill up an episode with cheap no frills walking & talking" isn't going to do it for me next season. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So this season is the best season of Vikings in my opinion. I think season's 1-4 is the greatest show ever made. So I find myself saying each season is the best season because they are all incredible (Except Season 5) The one scene in the episode "What Might have Been" is simply moving and something that almost made me cry. You go on this journey with Ragnar and you feel what he is feeling at times. I hated season 5 and hated Ivar. But he has some great moments in season 4 with Ragnar. And the ending of this season is so good and heartbreaking. In my opinion when Ragnar died the show died with him. Expand

Most impressively, Vikings captures the grim reality of these times and the limitations of these characters--barbarous, superstitious creatures that they are--in a manner that draws one into their world without necessarily evoking sympathy for it. And even the ostensible good guys, like Ragnar, are prone to do very bad things, without making them any less watchable.
