Mar 9, 2016I loved the first two seasons and felt that season 3 was a bit lacking. The new season is all over the place though. I get that the story needs to spread out and incorporate new characters (and time jumps) to further the story but its just getting ridiculous. The new central narrative focuses on all the new characters and very little on the original cast.

Feb 6, 2017Esta temporada ha sido genial y mantiene el nivel de la serie a un gran nivel, no se entienden las crĂticas negativas sinceramente, los capĂtulos tienen ritmo y hay mĂ¡s variedad en las historias.

Dec 14, 2017this season was amazing as the cinematography really outdid itself along with spectacular action and dialouge. Once again Travis Fimmel shines as Ragnar Lothbrok, but bjorn and lagertha were also very good. and i loved the guy who plays King Ecbert

Apr 30, 2017To be honest Season 4 is probably not one of the better ones of the show. The first part of the season wasn't that good but they make it up in the second part. It's brave to see what they have done with the story of some characters in the show. I couldn't predicted what happend to them and that deserves a thumps up from me.

Mar 12, 2016I had hopes for this season but they should have just sticked to the 10 episodes/season formula. Now they just tell a 10 episodes worth of story in 20 episodes.

Mar 20, 2016LOL @ the critic scores. This season is far from an '80'. I didn't actually mind the first couple seasons so much. I didn't think they were good but they weren't a waste of time. The third season is when 'Vikings' succumbed to mediocrity, and the fourth to parody. What will the fifth season become, I imagine??
-
Mar 9, 2016The first two Seasons of Vikings are excellent, Season 3 was mediocre (aside from the siege of Paris), but now Season 4 is, oh boy... The story is all over the place, the Vikings became a supporting cast instead of main characters, and even when the Vikings are on screen, it's just not the same, the magic is gone!

Apr 18, 2016The only thing obvious from Critic Reviews score is that Variety and Boston Globe reviews are written by bots or lazy or overworked critics that obviously didn't watch the show.

May 3, 2017Without doubt one of the most beautifully filmed shows in recent time. Every shot is artistically stunning. Love the characters. Deserves a far better user score than 5's!

Mar 27, 2016Everything on this show is amazing. All the detail that the have presented, it is just incredible. Of course, it is still have a lack of computer graphics while shooting in the ocean, but it is just something it has to be improved in the coming seasons.

Apr 22, 2016God, what a finale, this show is so awesome and deserves more recognition. The characters are superb same as the dialoges and athmosphere, its just amazing.
-
May 13, 2016Disappointing fourth season overall; they seems to want to rush the show or something because throughout we have incoherent cuts between characters stories, i.e random howling from Bjorn then straight cut to politics in France with no explanation? The show has been really good up till now and its really a shame they're taking it down this route. Hopefully they can improve with the next season.

Mar 1, 2017Vikings is the best show on TV, plain and simple. The first 2 seasons were the best, and I thought season 4 came back and finished on the upswing. I wish they made more episodes every year.
-
Mar 26, 2016The story is as brutally simple (as were the Vikings, so the series suggests): Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), a farmer when he's not being a warrior,
Brilliant series -
May 14, 2016Not one of the best shows on . THIS IS THE BEST SHOW ON TV NOW ! Watch how one man see's his friends gift of building boats and gets his boats to travel the world taking over every thing they see . Jan 18, 2017Enjoyed the show until the porn scenes. I don't watch porn, don't wish to watch it, especially on TV shows. I accidentally posted this in season 3, which I was very tempted to stop watching due to the sex scenes, but after the latest episode tonight, I gave up on it. Didn't finish watching the show.

Jan 5, 2019Whilst the journey of the main characters remains interesting, the plot and pace is all over the pace. The newer threads seem to lead nowhere and Ragnars sons are irritating
-
Feb 17, 2016It’s consistently well-made, entertaining, and held aloft by thought-provoking ideas.
-
Most impressively, Vikings captures the grim reality of these times and the limitations of these characters--barbarous, superstitious creatures that they are--in a manner that draws one into their world without necessarily evoking sympathy for it. And even the ostensible good guys, like Ragnar, are prone to do very bad things, without making them any less watchable.
