Season 1 was pretty decent and held your interest. Season 2 has devolved in to a ridiculous mess that might be beyond saving. I hope they wrap the story up by the end of this season and end it already.

As a fan of the first season, I am very disappointed with season 2... 3 episodes in, likable familiar faces have been killed off, while some other old characters have become inconsistent and incoherent. eg. Ep 1, I believe only Jesus can forgive and forget Big Jim's treachery and hostility so quickly. Norie has become unnaturally hostile and jealous when she should be more curious and helpful to the newly introduced teen character, especially after seeing her actions and personality in season 1. O yeah, and the handful of newly introduced characters as replacements... Expand

Poor "Under the Dome" producers. They thought they'd make it. They thought they'd be able to take a totally unoriginal, blatant, dumb book written in a language that appeals to eleven-year-olds and turn it into a good TV show. Well, they didn't make it, but it's not their fault. Stephen King, genius that he is, even wrote the script for the season 2 pilot episode, though, unless you (likePoor "Under the Dome" producers. Apart from the dialogue and the overused plot, which are so bad it's hard to say how much, the rest of it is completely average: the acting, the visuals, the fx don't attract attention. Big Jim could very well be the same character Schrader from Breaking Bad, no wonder it's the same actor.

Season 1 was no better than this, but wait for them to try and fit the original storyline in more than 2 seasons and we'll witness some serious TV offence next year.

I tried so hard to like Under the Dome. Really, I did, but I just can't hold it in any longer. The show is a mess, as it looks like the writers wait until the last moment before shooting to come up with dialog and storyline. I just don't see it being around for a third season if the episodes don't improve. Expand

Annoying new characters, ridiculous plot scenarios and some startlingly bad acting are quickly turning this show in to one of the worst of the year. I'll probably punish myself for sins in a former life by struggling to the second season finale but I secretly hope it gets cancelled. That's the only sure way I'll stop watching. Expand

Unfortunately, the second season of Under the Dome isn't nearly as good as the first. The only good acting I've seen is from Dean Norris, Mike Vogel, and Dwight Yoakam. All the other actors are either bad or sub-par at best. However, the show managed to keep its good special effects and its creepy atmosphere. I have to say that watching Under the dome is like watching print dry.

The only good thing in this show is the acting and Dean Norris. Overall Under the Dome: season 2 is a show that I'm not a big fan off. Other people may like it, but am not one of them.

What started off last year as a promising sci-fi summer series quickly devolved into a silly mess.
