By far and away the best comedy on tv right now, even better than Broad City's second season. Ellie Kemper is phenomenal as Kimmy a really great character developed within a few episodes, you cant help but root for Kimmy. The rest of the cast are excellent and happily embrace the madness. All in with this.

Best laugh I've had in ages, could not stop watching. Every episode is a classic, the new Arrested Development. Can't wait to see if there will be a season 2.

I love this show! It is so offbeat, quirky and refreshing. I love the acting and dry humor. It is especially appealing to me because of the cult aspect. Great fun!

Another fantastic show from Tina fey. The humor is in the style of 30 Rock, with a new dynamic centered around the new characters Tina dreamed up. This show really puzzles me. It seems like its target audience is adults, but the style of humor is reminiscent of something on the Disney channel. The characters are also extremely one-sided and animated. I understand that's part of the effect they're going for, but honestly, every character annoys me to some extent, and they're all just really, really stupid. Maybe it's just my preference, but I think comedy is best when it exaggerates real life while still maintaining some level of believability. This show, however, relies too much on extreme caricatures of real people making inane decisions. I'm sure some people find that hilarious, but most of the time I think it's cringeworthy. Expand

I love this show and I'll tell you why. It's not because it has some deep dark secret to tell or something that your have to watch six seasons to understand. It's because its uplifting. Period. dot dot done.

I am glad NBC decided to give this show to Netflix. It wouldn't survive as a network sitcom especially that 30 Rock, The Office and Parks and Recreation has ended and Community has been moved to Yahoo! If these sitcoms were still to be on NBC, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt would blend well with the crowd. Despite being made for NBC, this sitcom fits right for Netflix's original programming.

I must say that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is better than 30 Rock. Probably because Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has some backstory that would help the show tell a definite storyline and it utilizes its 13 episode order well to tell a concise story for its debut season.

The humor in this show is absurd yet witty and quirky. You can tell Tina Fey's humor is in this show and her work buddy Robert Carlock is helping Fey to make the humor consistent and funny.

The cast presence of Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski were excellent. They owned their roles in a very special way especially from Kemper as Kimmy Schmidt and Burgess as Titus Andromedon.

Lastly, what makes this show great is the optimistic themes this show has. The backstory where Kimmy was stuck in the bunker for 15 years by a doomsday cult leader sounds really depressing on paper. But , Kimmy won't let her victim status be the highlight of her and despite everything she has gone through, she remains hopeful, cheerful and optimistic about her future in the world where she thought no longer exists along with her new gay best friend Titus despite how harsh and cruel the world is.

If you love absurd comedies that are witty and quirky, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the show you should watch right now thanks to its interesting storytelling, the cast presence of Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski and its optimistic themes.

Netflix picks up another winning original series. The humor is almost as "unbreakable" as it's protagonist. The jokes are diverse and occur at an almost non-stop rate. Not all of them knock it out of the park, but I still found myself laughing a lot.

The characters and situations are odd. That not only amplifies the humor, but the charm as well. These first 13 episodes have been a real treat and I can't wait for more in the future. The repetition of the lessons it tries to teach is noticeable and I wish certain characters would have stuck around longer (humorous side-characters leave just as quickly as they arrive), but that doesn't stop this from being a great first outing for Kimmy Schmidt. There's plenty of charm and laughs to find with this show.

Actually surprisingly enjoyable. I like the characters, but the 'Dong' Vietnamese guy joke is crap ( I didn't think a lot about it until I realised they shouldn't really be casting a Korean guy as a Vietnamese guy because it's like saying they're interchangeable because 'ALL ASIANS LOOK THE SAME' )

From score to the rapid fire jokes and hilarious gags, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the spiritual child of 30 Rock. And every episode is packed with super funny jokes and gags and its also packed with an amazing cast and guest stars. Everything about this show is great. So go Kimmy!

This is easily the worst show I've ever viewed in my entire life. I may have laughed a total of one or two times. It was so painfully boring and not very creative at all. Just people saying random, outlandish things out of context. Do not watch this mindless show.

Titus Burgess is allowed to be a big personality, and yet show some heart in a role that could have been overdone, but isn't. Kemper doesn't just duplicate the gleeful, airy sweet-but dumb character she's perfected. She's got real range and fortunately is given really good material to chew. Her effervescence is genuine and infectious, and thankfully, Kimmy isn't just a goofy doormat. She lives the title, and it's funny through and through. But for me, the real surprise is Jane Krakowski, who I feared was to play the same character she's been in 30 Rock and various commercials. Alas, no....what starts as a formulaic character is given a chance within the first three episodes to actually grow and interact meaningfully with others, and Krakowski is dead on perfect in her role. It's a funny show, and a premise the writers can run with for miles. Expand

Tina Fey is too good a writer to be this lazy. Simply spouting pop culture references where jokes are supposed to be is cheap, lazy and stupid comedy writing. She is so much better than this garbage.

Creators Fey and Carlock instill Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt with the infectious positivity of their title character, who won’t give up, no, she’ll never give up. Still, her hard knocks life starts taking its toll in later episodes, draining some of Kimmy’s ebullience and replacing it with a little petulance. The sunny side up Kimmy is much preferable.
