Summary: Chef Tyler Florence is on the trial to find the Ultimate Risotto, and first heads over to Verona Italy, to learn from a top chef how to make a sweet pumpkin risotto. The chef incorporates his secret ingredient, using Amarone wine native to the region, to simmer the Arborio rice in, and use as a sauce to match the pumpkin. Next, TylerChef Tyler Florence is on the trial to find the Ultimate Risotto, and first heads over to Verona Italy, to learn from a top chef how to make a sweet pumpkin risotto. The chef incorporates his secret ingredient, using Amarone wine native to the region, to simmer the Arborio rice in, and use as a sauce to match the pumpkin. Next, Tyler heads over to Alba in Piemonte, and learns about truffles and participates in a full-fledged truffle hunt. He spends the day outdoors in the woods, led by a truffle hunter and his pig to find these rare culinary delicacies. Tyler in return, then sets about making his Ultimate Risotto dish using fresh porcini and chanterelle mushrooms. The new truffle hunter friend then completes the dish, by shaving in thin slices of white truffle into the finished risotto dish. They enjoy the hearty mushroom risotto dish made even better the rich, buttery truffles, and made sublime with friends, a view, and wine out on the terrace overlooking the Italian countryside. … Expand
