Dec 22, 2021Only technical part of the show is OK (not great). All the rest (plot, dialogues, characters motivation...) is terribly bad.
-
Dec 22, 2021This season is really disappointing.. Difficult to say... The quality just is inferior.
-

Dec 22, 2021good adaptation of Sapkovsky's book, cool cast, I liked, waiting for the new season
-
Dec 22, 2021This sh** is just disrespectful towards the books and the games. The world building is broken, it’s not the Witcher universe that I know for sure and fist and foremost the story is just stupid, Netflix took one big dump on the books.

Dec 22, 2021Tragic history mrs Lauren Schmidt Hissrich should be fired i dont be enemy changes but changes in this serial is very very tragic

Dec 22, 2021Uwaga!. Ten koszmarny wytwór chorej wyobraźni skazuje Was się na 8 odcinkową torturę polegającą na oglądaniu wierutnych bredni obrażających czytelnika Wiedźmina. Intelektualnie i wizualnie. Nie wspominając o totalnej nudzie, drewnianym aktorstwie, drętwocie postaci i bardzo kiepskiej realizacji.

Dec 22, 2021Boring, generic fan fiction, such a travesty. First season was not so bad, but this one is shocking. Burn it to the ground.

Dec 21, 2021This is not an adaption. This is bad written fan fiction. Disgraceful and disrespectful.
-
Dec 21, 2021The writers took the name of the characters and locations and invented their own story with little regard to the original one.
The result is a mess that doesn't make sense nor fits with the original Witcher universe.
This is fan fic, and not a very good one... -
Dec 21, 2021Definite improvement over season 1. Strayed from the book a bit but overall good.

Dec 21, 2021Story is written in a terrible way, it doesn't remind the original story. It's sad but sometimes I was laughing due to dialogues or CGI effects. Camerawork is impressive, acting was good.
Awards & Rankings
-
The show has earned a sizable amount of goodwill in an impressively short time, and even if we can no longer see the destination, The Witcher still feels like a hell of an adventure.
-
Watching the foundation get laid isn’t always exciting, but it does feel like showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is building toward rousing sequences and cares about each of the characters equally. Whether you feel the same doesn’t really matter. “The Witcher” is in it for the long haul, and even if Season 2 feels longer than it should, you won’t regret the ride.
-
“The Witcher” constantly struggles to balance its dialogue-driven scenes with pushing the plot forward. It can be an exhausting show in terms of pace—every single episode feels longer than it actually is.
