Dec 21, 2019It's (fan) tastic. The only thing it does wrong for me is not having a red haired triss.
-
Dec 20, 2019Nailed it.
Cavill lives and breathes the role.
The production values are off the hook too, slow burn, but worth the wait!! -

Dec 20, 2019Great so far, already reviewed it. I guess this is a second link that leads to the individual season?
Really annoying, why did metacritic introduce this? -

Dec 20, 2019Série muito boa e que passa bem as coisas do livro, pois foi adaptado deles e não do jogo em si, qie na verdade se passam depois dos livros.

Dec 28, 2019Read the books, watched the Polish series, played the games. New Witcher series are awesome and we'll done! Started my second watch through and can't wait for more seasons!!!! Thank you Netflix for making in right. Gerold is perfect!

Dec 20, 2019Half way through the first episode and this is FANTASTIC. As a HUGE fan of the books and also someone who enjoyed the games, this is really good so far!

Dec 21, 2019The show is really good, high production value, good acting jobs by the cast all around and lots of action scenes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, can't wait for Season 2!! -
Dec 21, 2019Netflix's The Witcher packs every scene with heart, rich dialogue, and characters (even minor ones) in whom you can't help but become invested. While some directorial choices didn't quite work, everything else about the show is so masterfully crafted that it's easy to forgive. The cast is perfect, the spirit of the books is evident, and the set up for season 2 has me dreading the year-long wait.

Dec 23, 2019A bit obtuse and not necessarily the easiest watch for complete newcomers. For those with at least a toe dipped in to the Witcher world however, its fantastically engaging and a great time. Henry Cavill is also an incredible Geralt. I had doubts going in, but he absolutely proved me wrong. He completely owns it.

Dec 22, 2019Amazing 1st season for a show based off a game. I only see it getting better from here!!! I'm all in, toss a coin!!!!!!

Dec 30, 2019I am a big fan of the game. I really loved the season! Henry Cavill was fantastic as Geralt! I can't wait for season two! :)
-
Dec 24, 2019Very good show, wasn't expecting anything from him and he delighted everyone! Great atmosphere, story, production, music. Many do not like the casting, at first also doubted, but everything is harmonious and beautiful. I look forward to continuing.

Dec 23, 2019A great show, that once again shows that "professional" reviewers totally has lost their touch with reality and what real people like.

Dec 22, 2019The series about the witcher waited a long time and my expectations were justified many thanks for such creativity :)
-
Dec 24, 2019I don't get the negative reviews, this show is great fun. Henry Cavill was born to play Geralt, I was concerned with his casting at first but he nails it, all the way down to the voice. The action is great, the story can get confusing, that would be my only gripe. Can't wait for season 2

Dec 22, 2019A few minor casting decisions do not do this show wrong.
Watch it and make up your own mind. -

Dec 22, 2019I was a bit dissapointed in some moments but the show grew up on me. Geralt, Yen, Ciri, Jaskier are so perfect and that makes the show

Dec 22, 2019Maybe in the second season when we get a more linear story, the critics understand the story. But hey, they had problmes with 3 and then just 2 timelines in the end.

The Witcher is a messy tangle of plotlines in a world underdeveloped to the point of obscurity.
-
As a mindless fantasy rollercoaster, Geralt’s journey is five stars all the way to tea-time. Sadly, for those who like brains with their brawn, it may be more of a slog.
-
It takes a while for viewers to learn how these characters are connected, via an exasperating Westworld-esque narrative knot that takes much of the season to unfurl. ... The Witcher heightens our confusion by fumbling details that would have helped it set a cohesive tone. Dialogue vacillates, from line to line, between theatrical fantasy-speak and modern colloquialisms (“Dragons are, in fact, a thing!”).
