They could have left out Ellen page transitioning out of the show but the show brings it up constantly. Feels like a politics show. Waited a year for this. Shame. She could still play vanya with it

Pretty disappointing season. Had huge hopes that this would finish off on a good note but its a mess of a season. At times I was thinking what is the families goal here. And just when we are coming up to the final episode we get two filler episodes randomly, drawing out this series in a very peculiar way.

Season one and two were excellent but this is awful. There were moments I thought were very good but overall the season comes across as low budget and was filmed during the height of a pandemic. There is about fifteen different characters in the ten or so episode season. Maybe a maximum of seven or so people in a scene (including extras).

I'll give this a FOUR and that's a fair score.

This one was painful to watch. After two gold standard seasons the drop in quality and writing has impacted the show. Here is my pro and con list of this season:

Pro: - How they handled Elliot Page's transition. - Great chemistry between certain cast members. - General comedic beats, more wins than misses. - Fun musical moments. - Viktor's character arc. Cons: - CGI. Whilst

    Pro:
    - How they handled Elliot Page's transition.
    - Great chemistry between certain cast members.

    - Fun musical moments.
    - Viktor's character arc.

    Cons:
    - CGI. Whilst there are great VFX throughout this season, the bad outweighed the good.
    - Poor plot coherence and worse group dialogue between multiple characters.
    - Terrible performances from sparrow academy cast.
    - Allison's character arc.
    - Diego character arc.
    - Continuity oversights.

There are more and I absolutely can elaborate, but I will post a more in-depth review when I've finished writing it.

The third season of The Umbrella Academy may just be the most emotional and personal season yet.

Funny, sweet, outrageous; third time out it once again puts on a brolly good show.

The Umbrella Academy never met a time traveling wrinkle it didn’t like, and for season three, there’s a lot of fallout to sort through. But with strong characters both old and new, there’s plenty of reason to see it through.
