Summary: Dr. Burnett is called out to a farm where a young boy, then his mother, fall ill to a mystery illness, leading to a fight for life for the mother and her unborn child. The hospital's boiler breaks, causing a problem for Matron and Carnegie, with Jack having to find a new boiler in 24 hours. An eccentric explorer learns that his days are over.
