    This series is the best thing that has happened to the Star Wars universe in the last 10 years.
    I hope this will continue in the future.

    Can’t believe we have to watch a cartoon to know who these people are I knew they’d ruin this after the first season with taking off the helmet and bringing in characters from the cartoons who btw some of us Star Wars fans don’t watch cartoons anymore not to mention boring episodes so far who knows what else cringe there is to come.     The storyline and dialogs are very weak. It is a shame that nobody cares and cool CGI and cute Yoda are enough to keep most audience engaged

    Rogue One is the best Star Wars content since Empire, hands down. Return of the Jedi, all the prequels and sequels were useless trash. Solo was damn good, and I would have watched me about a dozen of em if that franchise hadn't been swept away in all the Last Jedi backlash. The Mandalorian first season was such a relief that someone was getting something right, it wasn't asRogue One is the best Star Wars content since Empire, hands down. Return of the Jedi, all the prequels and sequels were useless trash. Solo was damn good, and I would have watched me about a dozen of em if that franchise hadn't been swept away in all the Last Jedi backlash. The Mandalorian first season was such a relief that someone was getting something right, it wasn't as straightforward, gritty, sober and badass as Rogue One, but it held promise. This first episode of the second season was a bit more goofy than I like in my Star Wars, Peli Motto and service droids have their cornball "slapstick" value turned up to 11, neverending womp rat callbacks, never ending Tatooine revisits, all are starting to rub me the wrong way, a bit. I still enjoyed s02 e01, but it's got the potential of flying off into the goofy/emotional zone, which strays from the badassery I became a fan of.… Expand

    It's not bad, but it's a bit disappointing that season 2 is starting out with mostly a filler episode, I wonder if there will be any story line or they are planning to do season after season of mostly stand alone episodes.

    It`s beyond me how Season 2 of the Mandalorian has received a 7.9 score. The script is terrible, the acting is abysmall, at times I feel uncomfortable watching the actors even try. I don`t know who was in charge of casting but there is not a single actor in this movie that corresponds to the Star Wars lore. FX effects are on point but there is no way this can compensate for a flat,It`s beyond me how Season 2 of the Mandalorian has received a 7.9 score.     This first episode has everything that you can love about Star Wars! Great special effects, a very Western feel, and the return of older characters. Mandalorian 2 ups the action and promises great things to come.

    OK, Season 2 is even better than the first season:

    More worlds, more aliens, more interesting stories, good characters, amazing specials effects (to highlight the scenary, this serie has cut down costs in production the spotlights)and make up, good perfomances and a great final in this season.

    The Mandalorian shows us that Star Wars can be done right for old fans and new alike. If Disney keeps going in this direction I have hope the franchise can be saved. Well done, the last episode was EPIC!!!

    I loved the varied aspect of sand people culture.
    Well paced throughout the adventure.
    A mix of old and new effects.
    Set design worked out well.
    Good show of predatory behavior that felt realistic.
    That flashback to introduce the new character gave me a bit more care for him and I was happy to be given his story.
    Also baby Yoda so you know extra points.    … Expand

    Sure, the plot was kind of generic; still, the full western vibe and the awesome effects make the season 2 premiere of 'The Mandalorian' an exhilarating experience, especially for old school Star Wars fans. THAT revelation in the final shot sure will spice things up if confirmed. Overall it was a good start. A lot of shocks sure will be expected in the coming weeks.

    This show has reignited my love for Star Wars after the last 2 disastrous trilogies. It is just plain awesome. Anyone who doesn't love this show is not a true Star Wars fan.

    Pure convienence driven scripts with literal plot armor, useless enemies that anyone and everyone can best without effort, and a thread-bare main story that the season was distracting us from with silly side quests. However it does not override all the issues, especially the metric tonne of plot holes and broken canon. As a writer, when you have to answer "because the plot needs it to" when asked "why did that happen?", you need to take a step back and let someone else have a round with the keyboard.… Expand

    It has the heart, soul and care that we missed from the sequel trilogy and is a love letter for fans and even a recommendation for non fans. They blown my mind away with awesomeness and there is not a single weak episode. The final episode is some of the best Star Wars experience I had in many years. The strength of this season are again deep interesting characters you are invested in, fan service, excellent use of lore and worldbuilding atop on creating / building emotions. Season 1 was already pretty good and I had doubts that they can pull of another season this great. But I was wrong as they delivered episode after episode until the epic climax. They use old and new characters to full potential. It is sad that I cant spoil more but it is simply amazing what they build here. Near the end they announced 10 new Star Wars shows / series and The Mandalorian laid an excellent foundation. I would not rate a single episode lower than a 9/10. There is so much heart, soul and care in this. It uses again the “Show not tell” approach and has some of the best elements from Western, Samurai movies and Science Fiction. Remember that the main actor Pedro Pascal wears a helmet. His body language works that well that you don't miss a thing. Baby Yoda is still so cute but also a scoundrel ;-). There are many returning characters that I wont spoil. The new ones are as amazing or even more as the already great cast. I like how they create so much emotion, attachment and depth. Just 1 returning character gets so much development in just a single episode that I wanted a show for him or at least a continuation of his arc. Then there is the final episode which I already praised. I had again doubts that they can give us a satisfying conclusion while having high hopes. Again they deliver and surpassed my expectations as they already did before. Remark: There is another badass post-credits scene that will put a smile on your face. They exactly know how to do it. A single name here, fan service there, garnering with revelations and additions of familiar faces. I am hyped for season 3. Overall I will give standing ovations and my full respect for this show. They saved Star Wars and re-earned the respect of fans while creating new ones. I recommend all episodes.… Expand

    One of the best shows of all time! The finale is up there in all time greatest tv episodes and will be remembered as one of the most impactful media moments in many peoples’ lives.

    Chapter 9 was a little too on the nose with the western comparisons. Chapter 10 did not move the plot forward as much as I wanted. I just watched Chapter 11, and now I can't stop smiling. It's happening... it's finally happening...

    An amazing start for season 2! The visuals are still stunning, the plot kept me entertained during the whole time and i don't even start to mention all the fan services they put into this episode. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes!

    The Empire is still a joke which doesn't make a lot sense. they have zero intimidation or deterrence.
    It's hard to believe they pose any kind of a threat to anyone.

    Mando get pummeled or shot repeatedly through out the show but it has zero affect on him. apparently beskar is the most awesome armor in the universe and the empire has beskar so why noone else makes armor from it is strange.

    The custom design in this show is unimaginative. they spent no time thinking how things should function. not everything needs to makes complete sense but they keep trying to "explain" things in very silly ways.

    Another thing that bugged me is how they use X-wings as the police cruiser of the SW universe and pilots are space cops.

    Like season one it was 10% watchable. 1 episode is ok , others are cheap fillers. This season started just like first one , it does intrigue and it gonna be missable afterwards

    This first episode in the second season is a great example of how the series can work across scale—it can be intimate when it's two characters exchanging information in a vast open landscape, and it can also be massive with action scenes worthy of IMAX.
