Sep 3, 2022I dont know what to say, and i now realized that what some guy told me that Facebook and Twitter is full of bots is right! and in this case tons of bots are complementing how good this show is, and oh my god.. Its an abomination, the guys in charge should honestly be charged for something

Sep 3, 2022Quem leu os livros sabe como mudaram os eventos, sem contar os personagens não-canônicos. Isso não é uma adaptação, é um fanfic do tipo que feminista de cabelo colorido faria.

Sep 4, 2022This is why don't give fanfiction a 700mil. budget, it's just awful how they managed to butcher a classic masterpiece and how they seem to like doing it. One of the worst adaptations ever seen, the Disneyfication of Lord of the Rings. Let's just forget it exists alongside Disney's star wars.

Sep 3, 2022Lo mismo de siempre inclusión forzada y ningún respeto por Tolkien lástima que Amazon haya gastado tanto dinero en algo que no está al nivel.
-
Sep 3, 2022When the proud brown elf stood up to that chud white man who told him to "let go off the past" and he clapped back saying "the past is with us all" I CLAPPED.
Decolonize Tolkien!
In all seriousness don't waste your time with this trash. -
Sep 3, 2022where is the lore, this is not Galadriel in Tolkien book or P.J movie, this is Marie Sue and Amazon change all the lore for overwhelming feminism and diversity , yeah, that is insult Tolkien work

Sep 3, 2022"The Shadow that bred them can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own. I don't think it gave life to the orcs, it only ruined them and twisted them..."
-
Sep 4, 2022It's rises to the level of Tolkien fanfic. It fails to capture the standard of Tolkien. His otherworldly setting, character designs and mythic storytelling or nowhere to be found.

Sep 4, 2022Terrible writing. Terrible cast. Woke garbage. No respect for the lore, a disrespect for the original source.

Sep 3, 2022Dumb, boring for long stretches, most characters are unlikeable and the dialog is cringe worthy. Was hoping for so much more.
-
Sep 3, 2022Sauron made a show about the Lord of the Rings, and it's as good as you'd expect.

Sep 3, 2022A huge misfire for the Lord of the Rings brand and name. Poor story & acting make this the bloated production impossible to watch. It also breaks the world created by the books.
-
Sep 3, 2022Absolute clown show. Horrible writing. Horrible acting. This is not LOTR. Absolute bastardization. End of story.

Sep 4, 2022Good CGI. But there is nothing with the Tolken Lord of the Rings.
-
Sep 4, 2022I watched the 2 episodes and I must say Amazon did not deliver on the plot side. I wouldn't even call it a fan fiction.
-
Sep 3, 2022THis wasn't good. It was bady made and badly acted and I didn't enjoy wathing it.

Adar’s début drips with signifiers. ... When Adar informs Arondir in Episode 4 that he has been told many lies, some that “run so deep even the rocks and roads now believe them,” it is still a thrill. Tolkien succeeded in creating a mythic world, one that has now grown vast enough through acts of typological repetition and imitation to conquer television, too.

With war brewing and the forging of the rings seemingly still far off, the first half of The Rings of Power’s first season constitutes little more than stage-setting for the struggle to come. Given the lack of quests and central commanding figures, it often makes for less-than-gripping drama. However, given that there are four more seasons already planned, and potentially dozens of new characters to be introduced, the slow and throat-clearing build is possibly a good sign.

The Rings of Power is a reminder of what drew many of us to epic fantasy in the first place: wonder. ... This series set in an ancient realm displays one dazzling and painterly landscape after another. Power also doesn't skimp on action. [12 - 25 Sep 2022, p.10]
