Aug 10, 2014Not great but find myself watching it anyway. As the series moves on one thing that really really bothers me is that the keep referring to the disease as "the disease". Don't you think that "the disease" would have been given a name by someone after months of wiping out the whole planet?

Aug 26, 2014The Last Ship doesn't break any new ground on TV but with Michael Bay at the helm, it offers a reasonably diverting season of pure entertainment and explosive cheese.

Jul 30, 2014The show isn't that good. Nothing special about it. Very clichéd and poorly written. It's had some bright moments, but it's just general tv. I've given up on this show too.

Jun 23, 2014I hope it gets better. The previews looked amazing, so I was looking forward to seeing this show. In the first episode we got a long fight scene and characters that are hard to care about. I like the cast but the show is too contrived. Every piece is predictable and strained. Like I said - I hope it gets better.

Aug 19, 2014Must people here are too severe at its critics here, this a great show, a must watch. It is very exciting and the story is great. I wasn't hoping for a great serie, but it was much more than I thought!

Jul 23, 2014Not happy at all with way the show is heading Less posturing by Captain Dreamy and more realism Lets use the "Last ship" and never mind the jungles of Costa Rica
The episode with the Russian Kirov class was technically weak but interesting -
Jun 23, 2014So at first I was a bit pessimistic about the entire show taking place in a ship... but wow it's actually pretty good. I really hope it sticks around. There was already a few big explosions and lots of action. It's like The Walking Dead but in a ship.
-
Jun 23, 2014This show was way too hard to follow and told little to no actual story. It could have been a lot Bette faith a real plot instead of a few scattered action scenes.

Aug 1, 2014I love this show. Finally a patriotic show that actually depicts our military in a good light. Good actors and scripts and of course the ship is pretty dang neat

Jul 4, 2014wow.. that's the cheesiest garbage i think ive ever seen. wasn't expecting an intelligent show, but this is shameless. didn't know whether to throw up or laugh my ass off. dialogue and acting really cheesy. unfortunaly guns and explosions bore me, that's all this show has to offer.. utter garbage

Jun 24, 2014Everything with this first episode is bad, bad acting, bad story. Lead female role is train wreck. Rhona go home and learn how to act. Not gonna write anything else because this show will "die" soon.

It’s been a “24”-like thrill ride so far, with baddies coming at the ship right and left to get their hands on the doc and the in-the-works cure.
-
The Last Ship aims for a big-canvas feel, but based on the first three episodes, the one-dimensional characters and action movie cliché dialogue ("Guys, let's do this thing!") make it feel cramped.
-
The Last Ship is a naval recruitment ad for the apocalypse, and these waters look shallow. Careful before sticking your toe in.
