Season 1 Review:
Once the film gets past introducing Mr. O’Connell as a charming fount of
delicious sound bites and philosophy (“It’s either art or garbage,” he says, summing up his general approach to hospitality), it becomes clear that what the show is really about is excellence and its cost—not just in dollars, but effort and vision.
